After the distortion realm, and Cyrus makes it back out (in my mind there was a long period between Spear Pillar and him getting out), Saturn has him put in a hospital and visits a lot so they form an odd begrudging friendship. No-one else really talks to him to Saturn is his only lifeline for a while. Eventually when he's recentered and back in society, he and Saturn start to be more open and honest about things, and become intimate again and form a odd platonic-esque relationship. Cyrus is still a criminal, so while he wants to help Saturn run the "new" Team Galactic, he can't involve himself directly, and ultimately wants to disband it (like in the manga).

Love how this bitch turns around in almost every edition of the manga at least 2-3 times. It was actually getting egregious at a point

Sorry about Cynthia also being here this is just a stupid AU that I wanted to put here. Making these swapped versions of these two was hard because avoiding them just looking like their ancestors was painfully difficult.
