Emptiness,

Feeling so hollow.

Shit that I've done makes it hard to swallow.

Hopelessness and despair,

When I was feeling down you were always there.

You brought me so much agony,

My life has become one big tragedy.

Push it in and watch it go - for our relationship now must go.

You will not be my despair, my pain, my end,

For you heroin, our friendship shall end.

I don't know how to cope with life sometimes,

So I turn to my friend with help for my mind.

But that is no longer an option,

now I must take suboxone.

How long will this last, how much time will pass?

Put me in a spoon and stir me up,

add some cotton and suck me up.

Hit the vein, pull the plunger back,

Push it in and now you can relax.

Use me once, you'll be back again.

Stealing from your mom and pops, now that's a fact.

I'll change your whole demeanor, attitude and thoughts,

Pretty soon you'll be living in a box.

But for me you shall always fiend.

I am your best dream.

As time goes on and you're totally strung out,

now I got you where I want you - without a doubt.

Take my hand and walk with me, my name is heroin and you belong to me.

Vomiting, aching, and fiending galore - get you some money and buy some more.

Once I drain you of your assets, life and children,

I'll leave you so fucking bewildered.

They call me horse, smack, dope and junk.

No more partying,

No more arrests.

Some new hobbies I must invest.

Hiking, camping, playing guitar.

I will keep those chemicals at a far.

McConnell's Mill I oh so crave,

The stunning beauty that surrounds us and even in a cave,

Waterfalls, cliffs, trees and rock formations - who made all this blissful creation?

I'm not sure right now, but my spirituality has grown,

the eightfold path is what I've come to know.

I really sway towards the buddhist way,

I love the peace, happiness and karma they respresent,

in my heart I need rid of this resent.

I want to travel, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and Brazil I shall someday unravel.

These are the things I truly want to see,

Earth's beauty and everything in between.

The  blue ocean, the coral reef, sea creatures unlimited,

All of this beauty really fascinates me.
