Ok so I had this idea since Luna was introduced as a character in the manga

In this Au Luna is the one who takes Gen's place, in the first days of her vacation in Japan the Green light turns her into stone and Tsukasa is the one who finds her

Let's say she learnt basic Japanese, and Minami helped her the first weeks

Then, just like it happened with Dr. Xeno, she's sent by Tsukasa to search for Senku

I think it would be really cute if she found the tree (It wouldn't be as meaningful as it was for Gen but she'd still be impressed). With that in mind I think a great part of everything that happened would get done solely out of she being a cute capable girl.

The scene where Magma tries to kill Gen would be instead Magma probably kidnapping her(? But even if he wanted to, he never killed or hurt Kohaku, so I think she would at best get kidnapped and left in who knows where.

Senku would consider Luna important, not in the same way he considers Gen tho

He would view Luna as an important member, someone who actually knows how to heal others, that would give place for jokes as we see Senku taking almost no care of others and their health

Now with the Lillian Weinberg thing... Considering that she's American she could make a decent impression maybe, the record on their hands would help, but in the end she could get to make Nikki understand them, girl to girl talk.

The path would be slightly different but I think it's safe to say they would get to the same conclusion, the making of the ship

Luna being a rich girl would help with Ruysui not taking all their money, so yes, she'd help with that too.

If she would be in love with Senku? Uuuh

I think she would confess every now and then but Senku wouldn't mind. The scene where Gen gets "killed" by magma could maybe be replaced by Senku saving her and helping her get better, and she would confess her feelings to him, but it's Senku who we're talking bout so he would say something like "why would we be partners when science is so amazing bla bla bla help me with my silly dream bla bla bla we have ramen and Senku-cola bla bla bla" and so on.

In the making of the ship my girlie would beg to come with them, as she wants to help as much as possible, she's so capable

We know who would've taken Ginrou's place

And that's all

Then the America arc would come... I think she would actually play on Ruysui's side, but they'd still lose

Now on Gen's side...

He would be so bored

Like, just imagine

Probably depressed boy

He, being an uprising star would probably get called by Xeno in their plan of redoing a better civilization

Xeno would be impressed by his magician skills, as he said:

"Either he's honest to a fault, or the world's greatest liar."

But he wouldn't have any reason to lie, except for his past maybe

After so much time with Xeno and his peers, his personality would be similar as it was when trapped with Tsukasa.

But I think he would like to talk with each of them to know more, and he would search through Xeno's memory till he mentions a young scientist, probably still made of stone somewhere in Japan.

Gen feeling connection not only to his country but to the boy itself, would ask more, the same goes for everyone in the team, till he gets a "raise" from Xeno as their official therapist.

He'd still like to explore the forest on his own, alone.

He would spend most of his time like that

Until Senku's team appears, and Gen, hearing about a team of Japanese youngins appearing close to their fields would be the first option for Xeno to go and search about them

I don't think Senku would send Luna, but Luna would still offer herself, being trapped by Xeno and recognized, she would do a decent act at luring about everything, and when asked about their leader, probably would mention Tsukasa, as he's the strongest one and could take care of himself.

Gen would get to the ship, dressed like Luna in his first appearance, but a stripped yukata instead, no shoes.

I don't think he would help Senku, he's impressed? Yes, that's probably the boy of his dreams? Yeah

I... forgot about Senku trying to take information from Luna by "flirting" with her...

But he would see in no time who is the actual scientist, he's so capable too

He would tell in signs Senku's name without anyone noticing

But he would still help Senku and give him something to relieve the pain (drugs)

I think he would still fall for him, and become a part of his team... Later on obviously

The thing he would ask for in exchange to save his life would be probably the same as it was, the cola

He's shy...
