I really really love Shrek! I’ve never met anyone who loves it as much as I do, though I’m glad competition exists because it means people are recognizing the genius of the franchise. I have like a billion video essays dissecting the brilliance of Shrek, from why the soundtrack is so effective to how it encapsulates how to write a perfect character arc to what the metaphor of the movie means and why you should care; if you like Shrek, I recommend looking at those on my channel since they’re chockful of love and admiration for the series. And that’s great! I relate to him too, that’s why its so amazing!

I’ll check ‘em out! I mean, I’m not great at like, analysing the different arcs or whatever you said, but I do think more people should see that it’s so much more than just a funny kids movie!
