"Time to meet some people from outside the Sector!", Gil chirped jubilantly as he roamed the crowded shopping center. He smiled at everyone he saw and greeted them happily, but no one seemed to pay attention. The boy turned a corner to be pushed and shoved about by a crowd of screaming girls.'What in the...', the boy's thoughts trailed off as his gaze happened upon an orange-haired fellow. "Whoah....", Gil sighed. "It's like he's sparkling..." He'd never experienced this feeling before. Was it what Guy called 'awe'? He remember the explanation faintly as he continued to gaze upon the man.
skoo-o-fish
By the oak tree he waited for Guy to show up. Just another day in the Sector. Same weather, same temperature. Everything was the same. Gil was becoming to grow tired of the weather. Would he ever see a rani storm in person? He didn’t know. Gil sighed and leaned up against…
Gil’s eyes popped open. “Ah, g’morning Guy!", he greeted him jubilantly with a smile. He fixed his posture and began walking alongside the other. “Yeah, sure. Of course we can talk! I mean.." The boy paused as he swept some stray hairs out of his eyes. “Ah, I need a hair cut..But! Back to the point. We talk all the time. You don’t need to ask~." He chuckled a little and smiled.
His face darkened severely. ‘Gosh what is this to him? It’s a big deal!’ "I-I um. I’ve been thinking about what you said." He stopped. He sighed heavily not wanting to say anything else. “About uh… you finding me attractive and all??" He stopped again and felt his face grow hotter as he tried to broach the subject. “I’ve never actually thought about a guy like that or anyone really. And I got to thinking-" His breathing sped up with his heart beat. “M-maybe it wouldn’t be all bad?" He worded it in a question. Great.Â
Gil’s cheeks flushed a dark red. He was confused now. “B-But you said that..", the boy gulped. “Y-You said that it’s not normal." His blush spread up to his ears. “I thought that meant you didn’t want to." All Gil could hear was his heart pounding. He quickly became nervous and added, “I-I mean! I still think you’re attractive, but I never thought..!" ‘Ah, I’m making a fool of myself.’ The boy took a deep breath. “Sorry. I’m being dumb."
"I-I know what I said! Isn’t a man aloud to change his mind?" ‘Stop it, you’re coming off as hateful.’ “I um. I don’t know, I was confused my self. I’ve never been with someone before, and I guess you are pretty cute but-"  God he was digging this hole deeper. “Okay." He breathed in. “I’ve decided that I might feel the same way." He kissed the boy’s cheek. Which caused his own to flush up again.Â
His cheeks flushed a darker red. ‘Ah! H-He kissed my cheek!’ The boy touched the cheek Guy’s lips kissed. A smile came across his face. This kind of happy was a new one to him. Gil let out a breath and the smile grew bigger. He wanted to jump. To spin around. To scream, even. Luckily, he managed to boil it down to a soft giggle and a big grin. “I like this feeling!", Gil mused excitedly as they began to walk again. “No, no! I really like this feeling!" He giggled again, his blush fading a little bit.
Guy blushed more at the boys once again very straightforward reaction. “I’m glad you like it." He paused. “Because usually when people are together that happens pretty often."  This was going to be a bit more difficult than he’s anticipated. ‘What are you doing? This is going to cause trouble.’ He ignored any of the sense trying to get through to him and grinned.Â
Gil skipped once as they neared the school. "Together." He smiled lightly at the word. "Wait!", he paused his walking a stood for a moment. "A-Are we 'together', then?", the boy asked looking at Guy. He paused another moment and shook his head, putting the facade on quickly. "This is dangerous, we're too close to the school." Gil's demeanor changed entirely with his voice. "We can talk more at lunch." The boy shot Guy a small smile, quickly wiping it off his face as he continued to walk and went in the doors.

Would he ever see a rani storm in person? He didn't know. Gil sighed and leaned up against the tree, closing his eyes. School would probably be excruciatingly boring today.
Gil layed back in the grass with his eyes closed. He’d forgotten his lunch today. Again, his features meshed perfectly with the surrounding scenery. As if he was meant for the land itself.
Guy walked towards Gil, he smiled as he saw the young man resting under the tree….
"Mm…", the boy groaned as he opened his eyes and sat up. “Ah, sorry. I dozed off.." Gil smiled and stretched. He sighed and leaned back against the Magnolia. “it’s getting harder and harder to stay awake in class..", he laughed at himself. He was such a good student before he got emotions. “Good thing tomorrow’s Friday." Gil smiled at Guy. “No homework!"
"That certainly is a saving grace."  Guy said grinning wildly. He turned towards Gil. “Yeah, having emotions causes you to want to learn about things that are actually interesting."Â
"Hah!", Gil laughed and grinned. “Too bad nothing interesting is ever covered in there." He sighed and looked at Guy with a smile playing at his lips. He brushed his hair back, “And what do we have to go back to? The history of arachnids!" The boy squealed with sarcastic joy. “Oh, how wonderful~!" Gil flopped over in the grass and giggled. “Guess we’ll have to live this one out, eh?"
Guy felt himself blush. This kid was being so damn cute. His emotions were certainly developing well. “Yeah, it oughta be scintillating." Guy said smiling at the boy.Â
Gil laughed harder. “Ah, man you’re killing me!!" He sat up, still laughing. The toll of the bell interrupted their fun. “Dang! Always has to ring at the most inconvenient times.." The boy got up, brushing stray wisps of sand and leaves from his clothes. “Guess we gotta head back."
"Yeah, let’s do that." Guy said standing up and smiling. “Glad you think I’m funny. One of my view good traits." ‘You won’t like me for long though. I can swear it.’ He thought to himself, frowning.Â
"Heh. Few, he says..", Gil mused under his breath as he walked alongside Guy back to the facility. He sighed and whispered with sarcastic excitement as they stepped over the threshold, "Arachnids, here we come~!" Gil blanked his face as they walked into the classroom.

Day Four :: Lunchtime
Gil layed back in the grass with his eyes closed. He'd forgotten his lunch today. Again, his features meshed perfectly with the surrounding scenery. As if he was meant for the land itself.
Guy saw Gil as he waited in their usual spot. He tapped his shoulder and said “Hello." Guy grinned and twisted on his heel to meet the other boys eyes. He’d been contemplating how he felt about well… How Gil felt, but still wasn’t all that sure how to respond. His head was…
‘Wow. That’s a step. I didn’t think he’d take it that far.’  Guy thought as he looked at the boy. He must have looked a bit surprised.  "Wow. That’s pretty amazing." He was dumbfounded. He would have suggested it after a while, but he’d done it himself. “God."Â
Gil exhaled deeply and looked over at Guy. “Hey, what’s that look?", he asked in response to the shock painted so obviously on Guy’s face. “I’m not a goody two shoes all the time!" The boy’s mouth twisted into a devious smirk. He let out a childish giggle and continued on. “I’m pretty sure they won’t find them. They’re hidden in my room under the mattress."
"Nothing! Just a bit surprised. Glad to see your emotions are being put to good use. " Guy began as he laughed lightly. “You’re turning out to be quite interesting." He said turning around and beginning to walk backwards.Â
The pink on his cheeks darkened two shades at Guy's last comment. "Interesting?" His eyes met Guy's. Gil fixed his gaze to the ground as his cheeks coloured darker still. He sighed and mumbled, "I'm not interesting. Jus' a dork." The boy took a deep breath and lifted his head back up with a smile. "But anyway!", he began. "We're almost there, so..."

Day Four
Guy saw Gil as he waited in their usual spot. He tapped his shoulder and said “Hello." Guy grinned and twisted on his heel to meet the other boys eyes. He’d been contemplating how he felt about well… How Gil felt, but still wasn’t all that sure how to respond. His head was honestly going in circles and he had no idea what to think, he was seriously conflicted.
"Hey.", Gil smiled and greeted him back. "So...I, uh... hid my parents' pills before they woke up today..", the boy confessed, looking guilty. Gil shoved his hands in his pockets and looked down. "I'm not gonna be able to keep this up forever, so why not get them off too?" he sighed and pushed his hair back. "Yaknow..So I don't have to hide around them anymore." Gil looked over to Guy for reassurance. 'Oh man, he's so cool...' The boy cracked a smile and fixed his gaze forward. His face was a light shade of pink.
Gil slid down against the Magnolia and opened his lunch. Same old, same old. He picked up the ham and cheese and took a large bite out of it. He thought for sure he wouldn’t have stayed awake in class. That lecture on binomials was absolute death. He leaned his head back…
The boy’s eyes opened. “Oh, hi!", he chimed happily as he flashed a smile. He sighed, “That lecture was so boring! I thought I was going to pass out.." Gil took another bite out of his sandwich. He smiled, chuckling at himself. “Sorry. I, um, stretched the truth quite a bit there." The boy continued to eat as he pulcked stands of grass from the ground.
"Ah naw. Feel free to exaggerate." He paused and focused. “It wasn’t even that bad of an exaggeration. I felt the same way." He paused again and stretched his arms. ‘What does he see in me? I’m nothing special.’ His thoughts began to get cluttered. ‘Wait what DOES he think of me what about-’ Guy stopped and shook his head, face now an uncomfortable shade of red.
Gil smiled and finished his food. He got up and walked out to the very edge of the shade cover of the Magnolia and lays back in the grass. “Well, if you say so then." The boy put his arms back behind his head as he shifted his gaze to Guy. “Hm? You alright?" Gil asked, a slightly concerned expression coming across his face. “You’re face is all red, Guy." He propped himself up on an elbow, continuing to look at his companion.
"Nothing nothing! Just being dumb." He wiped any thoughts from his mind and stood. “So, how’s your family? Well?" He desperately changed the subject and hoped his face would calm with the change. He grinned widely at Gil and turned on his heel, leaning on the large tree.
Gil rolled his eyes and sighed with a smile. “They’re fine. I’ve managed to, uh..", the boy paused and laid back down. “To keep all this hidden from them, so far." He grabbed at a leaf that was falling slowly from the Magnolia and smiled as it landed on his forehead. Gil smiled warmly and began to chuckle. “Geez, I couldn’t catch it when it was practically floating down, and it just land on my face!" He picked the leaf up from his forehead and grinned at it. His smiled seemed to fit perfectly with the surrounding nature.
Guy smiled down at the boy. “That’s great." He was planning on continuing the conversation when Gil was distracted by a falling, like a child would be. It made Guy feel slightly out of place, having grown up learning about the world, everything was a bit lack luster. “So you like the outdoors? Anything else your new found emotions have given you?" Even as Guy said this he stopped and thought ‘I’m playing him. But it’s my job so it doesn’t matter.’
Gil came back to reality with the question. He sat up and brushed the leaf away. “Well, there’s—", he cut himself off. Best not to bring up the new attraction at that point. “There’s, um…" The boy sighed. He was no good at this. “Huh. I can’t seem to… think of anything." Gil’s face turned a light pink. “That must be really boring; I’m sorry.." He got up and walked back to Guy, plopping down next to him.
"No no, it’s cool." He paused. Trying to think of something he himself enjoyed. “How about people watching? Although it’s slightly more fun when the people can react to you staring at them." Guy found himself at a lose it was hard every time, trying to talk to people new to emotions. It was even harder when they couldn’t think of anything. And god forbid he asked him why he found him attractive, he doubted his heart could take it.
"I haven’t tried that.." Gil mused the thought. “Heh, I suppose that could be entertaining." The bell chimed out across the campus, signifying the end of the conversation. Gil gathered his things up and began the walk back. He sidestepped away from the rut this time.
Guy stood and followed him. “It’s even more entertaining in other cities, where people sometimes have crazy hair colors and clothes." He paused. He felt a bit cruel. Gil would never see these places, why was he talking about them? ‘Right right, the plan convince him to think outside the box.’ “I think you’d like it" He finished stepping inside.
"Hm, I just might..", Gil replied. As his foot crossed the threshold of the place, the facade came back on. ‘Different hair colours? Does he mean to say that people COLOUR their hair where he’s from!?’ The boy looked at Guy and shook his head. ‘I wish I could see that..’
Guy walked with Gil after school. He found himself having difficulty to bring up any good conversation. “Uh, listen watch out for yourself alright? I’d rather not see you get into trouble." ‘God, what am I doing? That sounded ridiculous. Besides its better if he’s not careful! The quicker I get out right?’ He wasn’t sure what to think of himself anymore.
Gil nodded. "Of course! If I got caught, I'd...", he trailed off and tilted his head in thought. "Well, I don't know what would happen to me..Something bad, I'm sure!" He smiled and continued to walk. "Thanks for the advice, either way." The boy grinned at Guy and stopped when they made it to the fork. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." Gil waved.
