A few years ago, I decided to binge-watch every single episode of Two and a Half Men. One hundred seventy-seven episodes. Seventy-five hours. In a row, without sleep. And I succeeded. It was dumb and torturous, but also, one of the best times of my life. You can read about it here and here. I called the marathon Two and a Half Days of Two and a Half Men (that’s how long the running time was). We live-streamed it and had a ton of people tune in. Comedians came through and watched with me, I went bonkers and it was super fun.
Now, I am thrilled (and terrified) to announce that I am about to embark on another TV-watching marathon.
And since the ENTOURAGE movie just came out, we thought that would be a good place to start!
Here’s the plan. The marathon will start today and last the entire weekend. Funny or Die is getting us a huge “Entourage style” house in the Hollywood hills and we’re going to be live-streaming me watching every episode of Entourage in a single sitting. At 96 episodes, it’ll take over two days. We will have 50+ comedians and guests. Tons of fun bits including a children’s choir opening up the marathon by singing the Entourage theme song, a late night party and a massive, real live turtle. And joining me as co-hosts will be Adam Pally and John Gemberling.
Friday, June 5th at 3PM PST going until Sunday, June 7th at 3PM PST. After which, I will be taken - by limousine - to see the Entourage movie!

WHY DO THIS VERY DUMB THING AGAIN WITH ENTOURAGE?
Watching Entourage will be a lot different than watching Two and a Half Men. I am very aware of that. I had never seen a single episode of Two and Half Men when I started it. I have already seen most of Entourage. Also, Two and a Half Men was pretty awful and insanely bizarre. Comparatively, Entourage is a far superior show. The production level is good, the acting is way better, etc. I actually enjoyed the first couple of seasons of Entourage. But, from what I remember, the show eventually became ridiculous. It got repetitive (Vince and the boys came out on top all the time), it was sappy male-fantasy, and it celebrated excess and douche-bro culture. It basically became the thing it was originally trying to satirize.
Even so, I'm going in with an open mind, in an attempt to have a crazy good time. A three-day binging maniacal odyssey with dozens of sleep-deprived comics and four dummies from Queens.
And hopefully this will be one marathon of many to come.
1) I must be in audible distance from the TV while an episode is playing.
2) I cannot avert my eyes from the screen for more than 30 seconds.
3) I am allowed to go to the bathroom, but only have five minutes to do so.
4) I cannot use my phone while an episode is playing.
5) I am allowed one single break, which I can use strategically at any time.
