I’ll try and answer you all in one small-ish post (below the cut).

Anon, I definitely have the guts to admit it if I’m wrong,but I won’t admit to something that isn’t true.  Gillovny – the romanticrelationship that involves two people who are partners – is not dead and wasn’tdead up until now, either.  So there’s nothing for me to admit, becauseit’s the fandom that believes Gillovny is dead.  Not me.  If you wantto think David and Gillian are no longer together, go right ahead.  Giveit a little bit of time – you’ll see how wrong you were. 

I assumed that it was at least somewhat known that evenwithout seeing a contract, or knowing how one is structured, or being familiarwith how promotions are put together, that fans knew that actors can’t just dowhatever they want, as they want, for whatever reason they want.  Anetwork or a studio runs promotion – not the actors.  The parameters ofwhat’s expected, when, how often, where, and of whom, is all very specificallydetailed in the contract the actor signs, and you can NOT just tell the studiothat you don’t want to do promotion with your co-star.  You also seem veryunaware of the fact that promotion brings revenue in to advertisers, becausepromotion draws in viewers, which means they’re seeing ads.  Networks andstudios don’t care what their actors like or don’t like doing – it’s theadvertisers they’re coveting and that’s who they’re going to answer to. Every network and every studio has a team who is responsible solely forcreating the promotions and arranging a schedule, deciding on what routethey’re going to take (publication heavy, television heavy, combination, socialmedia, etc.) and then getting it approved.  FOX, for whatever reason ofTHEIR choosing, has decided not to have an intensive promotional period. There are many reasons that this could be, but it’s FOX’s decision. Social media, appearances, locations, awards, interviews, photoshoots – all ofthat is spelled out very specifically and actors can’t just decide that they’renot going to do it.  They can’t just tell FOX that they won’t pose forphotoshoots or won’t attend interviews or won’t tweet.  If it’s in theircontract, they do it.  Period.  FOX holds the control, not theactors.

The fandom is upset over David not attending Gillian’s WoFstar day, but no one knows what’s going to happen on Monday beyond the factthat David is sending a message.  What’s so wrong with that? Obviously he and Gillian talked about it, and whatever the reason he won’t bethere, they agreed.  Why does everyone turn it into a drama where suddenlyone of them did something wrong, pissed the other off, and now the first personis retaliating?  Does no one think that David and Gillian talkanymore?  (Obviously not.)  Gillian picked her speakers, as all WoFactors do.  She and David obviously felt that him sending a message wouldbe a better option than showing up, it would allow the focus to be on Gillianreceiving a star, and what matters is what THEY want and THEY feel comfortablewith, not the fandom.  You have no idea what’s coming in the months ahead,why Gillian and David have remained as publicly restrained as they are, and whythey’ve toned down what they show to the public.  You have no idea whattheir long-term plans are and how his not being at the WoF ceremony factorsin. 

Yes, Gillian appears for The Crown events.  I have noidea why this bothers so many people in the fandom.  It’s a job, like anyother.  If you don’t like The Crown, don’t watch.  If you don’t likePM, ignore him.  It’s not all that difficult.  Gillian has nevershared with us what her role within the structure of The Crown is, but she’smade it abundantly clear that it’s business.  The fandom wonders in angerwhy she won’t confirm that PM is her boyfriend?  BECAUSE HE ISN’T. She’s making it very obvious that he isn’t the man who is her partner, withoutactually using words.  If you don’t want to believe that her connection toThe Crown is business, that’s your choice.  If you’re one of the many whorage against Gillian because she won’t admit PM is her boyfriend, then keepliving in misery.  You’re waiting for something that isn’t going tohappen.

The agreement between G and the gargoyle is still in effect. They will be appearing together. It’s meaningless. It’s still a business arrangement.

Stop filling my inbox with “ha ha gillovny’s dead.” You’re so easily fooled and you fall for it every time.

G was “reportedly” going to/at some book signing with 🐢 a few days ago?

Like i promised you, i will tell you what i think of that mess and post my theory. I thought about taking a break, i didn’t think very highly of her anymore and i still have my problems with her behavior but i refuse to believe that Gillian has changed for bad.  

The first time we’ve seen her in the same place with PM together was at the BFI screening. He had his talk earlier and said the only Netflix show he knew was „The Fall“. And then he was spotted at her panel, which was about „The Fall“. The next month they were seated next to each other at HARPER’S Bazaar and G sat also next to Helen Mirren, who is also part of the same agency. But they didn’t look like a couple at all. She tweeted that „The Crown“ would be the best thing happening to us this year. Weird to post that about the show which you’re dating the producer of. Unlikely in this business! They were spotted at a few different occasions since October 2016 and still they never walked the red carpet together. Instead Peter brought his daughter to the premiere of his series, with whom he looked that affectionate with that everybody considered she was his date! And Gillian brought Andrew O’Hagan as her date. At the Globes Gillian also attended but never lost a word about him, just about the show. Her man received an Golden Globe and she had nothing better to do then tweeting about the choclate. That’s what true love looks like, yeah. She never once mentioned him and brought Bryan Fuller as her guest backstage. Then her movie premiered in London what should have been important to her since she’s so cautious about her public image as a feminist and again she ran to be at the BFI dinner in his honor. And looked like she didn’t really want to be there. Then the Webbys happened and i could wonder why PM let his gf fly alone to NY on crutches where she receives an award for her favorite role. Instead David presented in the cutest of ways and everybod was talking about them being a couple. That’s the worst case szenario for the people behind Peter and Gillian who obviously did their best to push their clients! What now? I do think that Portofino was staged. They’re not on the A list, why would some paps follow them to take over 400 pictures? It makes no sense and i’m not even talking about the fact that the paps actually couldn’t hide anywhere in that hotel, neither at the pool. So yes, it was staged and i truly believe that this would not have happened without the Webbys, because there was some damage control to do! They seemed like people who can accept one another but there was no touching in over 400 pictures. Weird isn’t the right word anymore. And for the ‚zipping down her panties‘ part.. i thought she hasn’t read the article of Katherine Fugate but i’ve learned to not believe in coincidences anymore when it comes to them. So i guess she wanted to tell us something with it. Those few sentences are suspicious.

If they would’ve been a couple at that point of time it was the perfect opportunity to come out as a couple. She could have said „Yes, we are together. We want to keep it private and those pics are inappropriate and will be put down.“ Instead she refused to say anything at the WE event a week after the pics got published. She told us, her fandom to fuck off. What a way that would be to defend her relationship with the supposed „The One“ anyway, but because of what? Because e said she shouldn’t act that way because she’s a role model and first of all a mother of two young sons and a daughter who were automatically dragged into it. No, i believe she was kinda hurt we all jumped on the train without thinking about her priorities in life, she thought we would know her better after all.

That was no coming out and there has to be reason behind it, sth she can’t shake off, sth she had to do. I’m talking about a contract, exactly. I’m not working in this business but i thought what this relationship could be about. Love, affection, friendship? Definetely not. They acted like work partners most of the time. But after Portofino everybody saw them in a relationship and most of us expected them to come out officially at the Emmys. What happened? They acted like strangers, she didn’t even look at him the time he lost. She spent more time behind the scenes with Vanessa and the crew than with him. She let him alone at the ceremony several times and please don’t come with your stupid hand holding. It was him dragging her to the exit and that’s already it. The picture with Vanessa has been deleted after a few hours? Why would she had to do that? Everybody saw her sitting next to Peter at the ceremony, her presence was no surprise for anyone. My guess is that her appearance should be connected to Peter and not to his series „The Crown“, because we might get something confirmed in the near future!

Yesterday one article got published about an actress having to appear next to a producer of a show who also loves the royals. It was that reliable that „Vanity Fair“ picked it up. Then all of a sudden another article appeared at the surface in which she says that she loves to spend her sundays (every second one tbh) with her boyfriend. That last one actually convinced me even more that PM isn’t a thing for her, because he lives in London. Why not spend more time with your boyfriend if he lives in the same city. More logical ist hat her boyfriend does live somewhere else, as in NewYork for example, where she flies in for every second weekend.

There’s no need to tell you that this last year has been a mess and it probably will go on until the day their project is revealed and i bet everything she will play the main role in his new or old series!

And i also refuse to think she wore the ‘I’m with Schmoopie’ shirt without a reason. I guess she knew exactly what we will have to deal with in the following year, so she wanted to tell us something important. Something we obviously forgot over the last year (though she really did her best to make us forget that tiny little note): She’s with schmoopie!

Last year, when all this began, I received info about Gillian and the gargoyle’s relationship being a business deal.

Today, a blind item by CDAN seems to support that info.

Sticking to Vancouver, it seems that this doing another season of the reboot A-/B+ list actress from one of the all-time ship relationships never to go public (#3) is miserable in a new deal she signed for appearances. The deal is with a company run by this foreign born showrunner who loves royalty. Our actress can’t stand the guy and didn’t want to sleep with him but wants roles in his shows so signed a deal to make appearances. It is not going well and apparently he does try to sleep with her every chance he gets.

You know, the ones determined to convince everyone Gillovny is dead?

What are they afraid of?

Or are they just trolls who want to provoke Gillovny supporters?
