hi anon! honestly having a really good quality video is a lifesaver, i normally don't gif anything under 1080p. having a good sharpening action is also key, this is what'll make the gif appear less fuzzy and plenty of gifmakers have theirs available if you search around a little. the tutorials right here and here are good, and if you already know how to make the gif you can skip right to sharpening and how to use actions! there are plenty of ways to sharpen gifs, so i recommend playing around with smart sharpen and gaussian blur when you edit to find your preferred setting. i hope this might prove helpful to you <3
