As Christmas approaches and the year closes, I don’t have a “list” of material wants. I realize things don’t matter much...but true joy + peace are indeed priceless. Being in alignment to receive what He wants to give me is so important. So, I only want what God wants + has for me. I know that what he gives, He sustains. •His gifts are perfect (James 1:17) •they are good won’t bring sorrow (Proverbs 10:22) •His gifts are purposeful and may be different from others, but I will use them to honor Him (Romans 12:6) •He won’t take His gifts back (Romans 11:29) • He generously gives (if I ask for) specific gifts like wisdom; if it’s my desire (James 1:5) I pray the same desire for you. Spent the evening in prayer + reflecting. This year has been such a beautiful + grounding year. Full of self-discovery, healing, big reveals and “use what’s in your hand” moments. 2020 made us all focus on what really matters, pushing us to dig deep + rediscover dormant gifts and purposes. 🎁 2020 required change! I have certainly evolved and I am grateful for the experiences that have made me the woman I am today. It helped to chisel my faith in this season. I don’t think or dream the same. I don’t even LOOK the same...lol! I just hit my 6 month #locaversary 🔥and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve always loved my big hair as a natural but the volume now is everything to me 😍 My ends still unravel from time to time, and I’m obviously still budding (especially since I’m in the gym 3-4 x wk) but some of my locs are evolving too! Tightening into place after weeks of unruly swelling lol! Some of them you can’t even see the two-strand twist any more. Today was a beautiful, yet challenging day. Don’t know if you would understand, but there is such a tangible quiver in the atmosphere. It is SO very charged ⚡️⚡️⚡️ As I was driving home, I found myself quietly processing the intensity of the shift that’s taking place in the coming hours. Needless to say, it was a very solemn drive home. I pulled up in my driveway and I was excitedly greeted by my little guy, MarcoPolo. He ran out of the house as I pulled into the driveway (so dangerous! He totally put himself in harms way😩) and greeted me with THEE BEST, “...so glad you’re home!” greeting. It immediately jolted me from that solemn & heavy state I was in, and I was suddenly filled with joy to see him too. I forgot about everything happening around me. My heart was simply full of joy. I’d like to think that on a very small scale, this is like the joy our Father has when we come back home off a road of searching. The new age rage of manifesting the life you want to live, certainly brings about a reaction. The principles are certainly not new, they’re actually biblical. There are SO many scripture references; too many to list. I can’t speak for those who “manifest” outside the will of God, (that’s another topic for another day) but for me...this year has proven just how great God is and how His provision and presence have helped to bring me in alignment and manifest every dream + promise IN SPITE of a GLOBAL pandemic 🙌🏽😩 Those goals I set out to accomplish years ago that never saw the light of day, I worked on them feverishly to see them flourish. I give myself grace for those ideas, songs, books, visions, and products that I am still working to produce; but If anything, I am EXTREMEMLY grateful for this time we’ve had to completely recalibrate. Listen, 2020 was about getting things setup for the years to come and I for one STAYED BUSY. Everything I was able to put in motion this year, I am looking to see manifest. I used my #PowerSheets to set the course for my journey in accomplishing even more goals! Last year I believed God for a NEW house...this year, relaunching my businesses @anaturalglareco My Consulting Firm, My Son’s clothing line @the3ofus.bay and once again living life on purpose as an #entrepreneur.
