Kristian Underdahl, Montana inmate 3013693, born 1995, incarceration intake June 2014 at age 18, sentenced to 60 years, scheduled release date not published
Sexual Intercourse without Consent
In June 2014, a judge sentenced an 18-year-old Great Falls Montana man accused of raping six girls between the ages of 12 and 14 to 60 years in Prison.
After a series of emotional testimony from one victim, two family members of victims, and Underdahl's father, Underdahl was sentenced. Underdahl is also now categorized as a tier three sex offender, and is ineligible for parole until he has completed sex offender treatment during his incarceration.
In handing down the sentence the Judge disregarded a joint plea agreement in which prosecutors recommended 10 years in prison and 35 years’ probation for Kristian Underdahl.
The Judge called Underdahl a “serial rapist” and said there was a high likelihood he would find more victims given the opportunity. Underahl says he feels bad for the people he’s hurt and that sex is like a drug for him.
