I was in the “gifted” class in my school where you would go to a classroom one day a week for most of the day and then at like 2:00 you would go back to class. This gifted class was fun and I loved the people in the class and the teacher was nice. So, when the middle school gifted teacher came and showed us a presentation above what it’s going to be like in middle school, I honestly excepted the same thing. As in having fun a lot. It wasn’t. At all. When I got to her classroom, she was nice at first, but as the year went on, she became more demanding, I guess, of us. Like, if we didn’t do homework, she would be like, “My class is more important than your other classes. You should do my homework first.” Honestly, it was tiring and stressful. She felt toxic and normally, I would do my homework and when I forgot, I would worry so much. Her toxic attitude and all the other homework would sometimes make me feel sick or make me have a mental breakdown. I’m glad I’m out of her class now.
