Imagine being found NOT GUILTY but still receive a LIFE sentence! #NotGuiltyServingLife Terrence Richardson and Ferrone Claiborne are serving life sentences, ostensibly for crack cocaine, but, in reality, for the murder of Officer Alan Gibson—which they unquestionably did not commit, and for which a federal jury acquitted them. They have been incarcerated for over 20 plus years for a crime they did not commit and were ultimately found not guilty of. The Law Office of #jarrettadams did a 3-year investigation into their case and there is no question that these men are innocent. Learning ways to do his own thing is the key for the 6-foot-10 Scotlandville High post player. “I feel like this year is going great … just the way our team is coming together and playing together,” Booker said. “When we get after it every day in practice and on game days, I feel like nothing can stop us. I love playing with this team.” The feeling is mutual. Booker’s teammates call him “Pop.” On any given night the combination of Booker’s size and the Hornets’ defensive aggressiveness can blow games wide open. Scotlandville hosts Division III Port Allen at about 7 p.m. Tuesday. A 71-48 win against New Orleans power Newman on Saturday is the latest example. The UNO signee scored 26 points, dominating around the net for Division I select Scotlandville (22-2). It was similar to a surprisingly easy 76-48 win over Division III select power Madison Prep two weeks earlier. Booker finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds.
