So much history! We visited President Nkrumah’s museum today. I’ve always been really interested in his life, so it was really cool to see a lot of his personal items. We also saw a statue of him that had previously been destroyed. During the coup that ousted him as president the head of the statue had gone missing. And around 2009, and old lady came and dropped it off so many years later. He truly was visionary. He had so many plans for what Ghana could be. It’s really a shame that US intervention and a plethora of other things have hindered Ghana’s greatness

*aphrodisiac by brandy plays in the background* so we found an aphrodisiac in Ghana. You’re supposed to chew on it like gum I guess. We all tried it lol. Fine at least most of us tried it... Fine, I tried it 🤧🤧

This tree creates these shells around their seeds that have narrow holes. The shell’s holes are always smaller than the seed, so monkeys get their hands stuck in them all of the time.

This was a dead tree that was carved at the botanical gardens we went to. We got the chance to me the carver, and he seemed pretty dope. It’s supposed to symbolize the story of life. Everyone is vying for the top position. If you zoom in, there’s some people lifting people up, and there’s other dragging people down!

It took forever and 3 days for our food to come lol, but it’s all apart of the adventure. The food was amazing, and we had a blast at the Prestige House restaurant. Maybe next time we should order in advance 😅😅
