You know the person who currently gets mocked because they're bi but in a "gay way", like they date women as a woman and would date men as a man. (I don't remember if it's a NB person tho)

Well I totally get them. Because I'm like the opposite. When I was younger I would wish I was a boy to date the girls I liked. I was so hetero centered that I couln'd imagine dating a girl as a girl. Even after kissing and doing things with another girl my age, I just wished I was a boy to be in a "real" relashionship with her.

Currently it's more complicated than that, and if I was single I would totally want to date a woman I like if I had the chance because I would be so down bad 😭 but I would be afraid to still have this part of me that was very real until I was 20+

i don't know why, but I think Maquia (when the promised flower blooms) is a really relatable story. Ofc I'm not immortal or a long lived elf, but I do relate to Maquia a lot. In the sense that I feel like everyone I know will be nothing more than a brief appearance in my life. And I have accepted that even if it's sometimes painful to think about.

Maybe it's because I don't have meaningful family outside of my mother. Maybe it's also because my ex cut ties with me after knowing each other for 10years, and it somehow feels normal. Maybe it's because after 10 years in France I have nothing left of New Caledonia. I also cut ties with "friends" myself.

I'm trying to lose weight but god I hate this body. I already under-eat (like for real. Only vegetables and a little something, like an egg, as a meal) and do sport. Nothing works lol. The only way for me to lose weight is literally not eating at all. Honestly fuck those fatphobic assholes who say we're just fucking lazy

I'm so so mad, I don't know where to post this. I'm sorry in advance to vent here.

My mother is algerian and experienced a lot of racism in France when she was younger. She moved back to France last year with her white boyfriend. He lives in HER house (and pay for nothing like the parasite he is), and whenever his children and grandchildren come to visit him, my mother is the one who takes care of them most of the time. Today, while she was looking after his little granddaughter, the girl said, "black children shouldn't play with me." and repeated it twice. So there she is, taking care of this white family, only for them to teach racist ideas to their 3yo kid. And of course, it's always those backward country bumpkins who've probably never even met a black or brown person in their lives who turn out to be the most racist. I don't want to imgine what they're saying behind her back. I fucking hate them.

Update: guess what ? She got the fucking conjunctivitis because they always send their sick kids and they have no respect or consideration for more vulnerable people (she's 60 y/o and one day they literally sent their covided kids)

it's so funny when people are called out using AI for a project, their excuse is always "uhhh I bought this art from an artist, they scammed me". Even when it's the most obvious AI shit ever. Then proceed not to change the AI "art" and never drop the name of the "artist" that scammed them.

They really act the same as when people used to steal our art (before AI) and blammed a random someone who apparently "sold them this artwork". Those scumbags aren't creative enough to be good liars 😭

I recently started making thumbnails occasionally for a YouTuber I like! The thing is, I’ve started getting commission requests from smaller youtubers I don’t know at all. And honestly, I don’t really want to say yes. I don’t know them, I’m not familiar with their content, and I worry they might turn out to be problematic. I don’t want my work to be associated with someone I’m unsure about 😭

I feel bad saying no all the time, but it feels safer this way. At the same time, I think smaller YouTubers deserve illustrated thumbnails too if they’re willing to pay. But yeah, I don’t know.
