We’re thrilled to announce that the concept for the Gravity Falls Horror Zine has been finalised!

This zine will be presented as a curated archive of Stanford Pines’ field notes, interviews, dream journals, recovered documents, and personal observations collected both during his time in Gravity Falls in the 1980s and in the present day, post-Weirdmageddon.

Each piece will explore a different kind of horror (psychological, cosmic, body, or cryptid/paranormal) through the lens of Gravity Falls’ characters, settings, and strange phenomena.

Mods have officially been selected and will be contacted tomorrow (thank you to everyone who applied!).

We’re officially opening moderator applications for our upcoming Gravity Falls Horror Zine — a digital-only fan project exploring the disturbing, uncanny, and unexplainable corners of the Pines family’s world.

This zine will focus on horror in all its forms: Cosmic horror Body horror Psychological and paranormal horror And the general weirdness Gravity Falls is known for.

We’re currently looking for mods in the following roles: – General/Project Mods (help with scheduling, communication, etc.) – Art Mods (artist support, feedback, file prep) – Writing Mods (editing, proof-reading, content checks) – Graphics/Layout Mods (visual cohesion, final PDF layout) – Discord/Community Mods (server organisation and support)

You do not need prior zine experience to apply! We’re looking for individuals who are communicative, horror-literate, and excited to help bring this project to life. Mods will help shape the zine’s format, tone, tarot gimmick, and rollout timeline.

INTEREST CHECK OPEN — GRAVITY FALLS HORROR ZINE

We’re opening interest checks for a new horror-themed Gravity Falls fanzine—exploring the show’s darker themes through cosmic horror, body horror, psychological unease, and paranormal/cryptid horror.

This will be a digital-only zine featuring art, fan fiction, and possible merchandise, with a planned October 2025 release, just in time for Halloween and the Weirdmageddon anniversary. Right now, we’re gauging interest in horror content, contributor types, and general ideas.

This will be open from June 19th to July 3rd.
