Crossing his arms and letting out a healthy laugh, Jayce’s boast was a bit of a stretch from the truth. Granted he had acquired some funding from another lovely Runeterran so he could start building a lab. But that in itself would take time no doubt.

Jayce looked down and realized something. Vi’s hands were small, in fact. Very small. Almost… Lady like. One hand flicked out from it’s comfort in the arm crossing and pointed towards her right hand.

Not that she'd manage to laugh for long - the fact that he'd so quickly pointed out one of the few things you could consider her self-conscious about would cause her to quieten remarkably fast. Since she'd wrenched these off a mining rig, pretty much nobody had seen her without them - Cait was the only person left alive or not imprisoned that had on more than a single occasion - so for her to be stuck in this city without them, for anyone to see, was more than a little discomforting.

"What do you mean what's up with those? What, my hands? Did you think that the gauntlets were... I dunno. I still don't get what you mean, I mean they're just hands, Jayce."

From the looks of things, he wasn't much better off, though - to give someone as high-tech as Jayce what looked like a glorified stick was both insulting and absolutely hilarious. At least she'd been able to keep the Hextech stuff for one of her skills; did his even have anything in it?
