Bluelab®Pro Controller™provides full control of reservoir pH, conductivity and temperature in one place. When connected to a dosing system, and as the plants feed, the controller adjusts pH and nutrients to the desired range.

It is important to maintain a hydroponic nutrient solution at a pH level where the elements in the nutrient solution are consistently available to the plant. If the solution is too acidic or too alkaline it can cause “lock up” – a situation which restricts certain elements essential for growth from being absorbed by the root structure. Deficiencies in the required elements become apparent in the plants growth and can lead to crop failure. The pH of the water we drink is crucial to our health. The pH of the swimming pool is important, not only for our skin and eyes, but also for the efficiencies of sanitisers and pool equipment. The pH of the water a fish lives and breeds in is critical to its existence as certain species require a particular pH to survive.

Bluelab has a range of products suitable for measuring the pH in nutrient solution or soils. The Bluelab PeriPods can be paired with the controller to allow easy integration for tor nutrient solution management. There are three types of PeriPods – L3, M3 and M4. The Bluelab PeriPod L3 responds to dosing triggers received from the Bluelab®Pro Controller™ and pumps pH adjusters and nutrient stock solutions into the reservoir using peristaltic pumps. This PeriPod accurately measures, controls and maintains pH levels. Since grow sites are all different, users can choose the pump size to match and add optional extras to the dosing system set up.
