Georgia was considered a bad influence on her girlfriend. The St. James family never liked Georgia but put up with her for their daughter's sake. Georgia was interested in testing the boundaries of adults in her teenage years & was often found trying new things such as smoking cigarettes, weed, & even trying alcohol. Eloise had thought Georgia was cool.
β Eloise & Georgia dated until Georgia was 16 years old, when Eloise's dad got a new job outside of town & moved away.
Georgia went on to date a boy from her grade named Ethan. He was just like Georgia was & couldn't stand being at home, so they often spent time hanging out at the parks, library, and other places to avoid being at home. They dated from 16 years old to 19 years old.

There's an empty building not too far from Witches' Walk where he'd asked Georgia to meet him. They'd not met before, he doesn't know her personally. But this is something of a business meeting - and he'd needed any Phial witch who would pick up the phone for a Lindon.
Arms crossed over his chest, he stared up at the run down old house, wondering what the hell he was thinking. Between his shifts at the hospital and being courted by a hunter for a deal, Jace wasn't even sure he knew what his next step would be. But with the cold permeating through all of them, this had to be a necessary one.
Keys in his pocket, he moves to the front door to unlock it - despite the holes in the walls and windows - and stops when he hears someone approach. "Hey - Georgia? I'm Jace. Thanks for coming."
Georgia doesn't ask too many questions when she gets a call randomly. Nor does she ask when it comes to be told to some random location in Port Leiry. Maybe she should have been a bit more inquisitive about the nature of any of this instead of showing up to a meeting with only the magic running through her veins, a knife in her boot, & fists that have been in their far share of fights.
The brunette looks around as she walks to make sure that nothing would get the better of her (hopefully). The twenty five year old comes up behind the other party, the one that she assumes is the man on the phone. βYou know asking a stranger to meet you in some creepy ass place might be cause for alarm.β Georgia chuckles then. βBut so is agreeing to meet someone here.β
The witch shrugs a little as she looks up at the old warn down home. There was a part of her that screamed run but Georgia was never good at listening to the rational part of herself. Instead, she stops just a few feet away from Jace. βGeorgia Holland. Nice to finally meet you. Now is it safe to ask what we are doing here?β
"Georgia - and I, Briar." She says, with a mock-curtsy that is as unintentionally ungraceful as it is meant to be silly.
She peacocks in, stomping sloshy snow free from her boots. "Not many places down here still open - surprised to see this one so alight. Traffic simply cannot be that high, no?"
There is a way about witches - they say - an inkling as to when one's been gifted with the touch, for lack of better phrasing. Briar, old soul that she is, senses the whimsy of the weird about this one, but she says nothing as she peruses the place, not even sure what sort of shop or business it even is. "But certainly new - I've not seen you in my wanderings."
Georgia can count the number of people who dared to brave the cold weather to come out this way on both of her hands. Although Georgia doesn't really care about how slow things are as long as she gets the money in her checking account every two weeks, that is accurate. The other party says their name, prompting Georgia to nod to show she was listening.
βThere have been FIVE people today who have been dumb ... I mean brave enough to come out here today.β Including you. Georgia is thankful that she at least made a poor attempt to cover up her insult. βSorry, I am just getting used to the idea that cold weather doesn't stop things in their tracks.β
Briar notices Georgia's newness to town, which makes Georgia narrow her eyes at the other. Does everyone in this town know everyone, or is this person just that nosy? Either way, Georgia doesn't know how to respond at first. Georgia shakes her head as her face goes back to a rather neutral expression. βI'm new. Only been here about a month. Are you the town's census person, or does everyone around here just know everyone?β
This cold, this all consuming, entrapping cold, has been making her teeth itch. When Daniella first made mention of it, it hadn't occurred to her, but as the days turned around, into weeks first, and now into months, it lingers in her mind.
The sun rises and sets.
The day comes and goes.
She wonders, had she one then, if a clock might have kept time all the same.
Curious questions in need of answers she cannot find nor give.
And so - drudgery.
Having ensured the life of her little deathroot seedling in the sands below, Briar skulks up the stairwell that takes one from the quiet sand below the boardwalk up to the row of businesses. Not every shop or cookhouse on the wharf is open, some seem closed forever, but a few, they lay open, warm and inviting despite the icy cold of the frozen coasts.
She meanders inside one, if only that she may warm her hands before the trek homeward. "H'lo!" she says, before her gaze double-takes. "You're not the usual fellow, with his great big beard!"
Port Leiry felt like home in a way that Tombstone, Arizona, never did. Georgia won't admit it to herself just yet, as she allowed herself to mourn the loss of a place that she once felt comfortable in. Maybe not the home itself, but the places surrounding it. The only thing about this area that she now resided in was that it was too cold. It made her get a heavier coat that was now hanging over a chair in another room.
Georgia might find this place feels like home, but the job isn't. She misses doing things with cosmetology. The hair, the nails, the makeup. It was all home to her. It's where she belongs, but until she gets settled into town, this feels like the next best thing. βHello, I'm Georgia. How can I help you today?β Georgia asked. A smile formed on her lips to replace the broad expression that she once had.
