xiao by nature seems to be very neutral or monotone when he isn't filled with unbridled rage

however, if the lives of those he actually cares about are threatened he will lowkey panic

especially if it's something he can't protect you from

in his mind, sickness is a plague and a type of demon, but it's one he detests the most because he cannot fight it

he was literally created to fight demons and protect people, and he feels, quite literally, useless watching you lie in bed miserable

he curses diseases, he curses all of the medicines that aren't working, he curses humans for being so fragile and susceptible to growing ill

he knew his time with you would be short, but this just isn't fair

he's the type of person to watch over you while you're both awake and asleep

he sits in the corner chair, poised to spring into action should you need him

i imagine that zhongli would pay visits to you to assess how you're doing. i am betting that xiao would pray for rex lapis to find some death cure, or at least something to curb your suffering

xiao would do everything he can, but he was built to kill, not heal. and he fears being too rough when lifting you up, holding your hand, or embracing you as you cough quietly. he does not want to inflict anymore suffering on you.

but he knows he doesn't have much time.

i feel that when he knows he is running out of options, and there is no cure, he will become more distant. he is scared to carry the heavy burden of your soul and memories for the rest of eternity.

he knows he will anyways, though, and it will weigh on him as if it was all of teyvat on his shoulders

xiao stays in the room with you nonetheless, but he firmly keeps his distance, shaky hands holding his polearm tightly

i will actually leave it here because i want it to be up to your interpretation as to what happens next. whether the sickness finally goes away, or you succumb.

albedo

this man would also be neutral, but it would be slightly different.

i definitely think he's a gentleman, and he tries to be with you when he can.

before you fell ill, you used to visit him as often as you could, braving the snow and ice of dragonspine just to spend the day with him

perhaps that's why albedo feels it's his fault you've fallen ill

maybe all of those trips through the unforgiving icestorms in dragonspine finally caught up to you

he presses his hand to your forehead, trembling at the heat from your skin.

albedo is definitely trying any cures he can find, searching for doctors and pharmacists from mondstat to liyue, trying to find some miracle cure

despite all of his efforts, though, your condition isn't improving

when you offer for him to take notes on your condition in case anyone else falls ill, you finally see him crack

he promises that no matter what, he will find a cure for you, and he won't let you die

albedo doesn't cry, but seeing you in pain has him with dried tears on his cheeks because for once, he actually feels helpless

it seems like you are sand, slipping through his fingers, and there is nothing left to grasp onto. he worries he can't keep his promise to save you, and he grows restless, dismissing the medical professionals to attempt creating cures himself

as your condition worsens, he refuses to leave your side. he doesn't even go to his lab, he just has sucrose bring the things he needs to your room.

sucrose will definitely be there with you both often, and she does what she can to reduce your suffering

albedo is known for being extremely intelligent and strong beyond belief, but he feels beyond helpless watching you cough and lay uncomfortably

he refuses to imagine what it will be like without you. as you get worse, he pulls himself together roughly and makes a promise to himself this time: he will do everything he can to keep you with him, even if it sounds selfish.

if xiao was in modern times, i still see him as being a more withdrawn person in general

you probably met him at school or something like that and he found out you both play the same game

sometimes when he gets tired of being irritated, he co-ops with you and just collects materials or whatnot. he doesn't really get the point of just walking around aimlessly or spinning and jumping, but if it makes you happy then he's fine with it

xiao would be the type to carry you in domains. idc how good your builds are because xiao is somehow amazing at video games lmao

his viewers think it's cute how he goes soft when he keeps co-oping with that one person (you ofc)

anywaysss. xiao definitely drinks energy drinks idc. he doesn't get any energy from them, though. he probably just drinks it because he likes how the cans look idk

xiao has a nice gaming setup and he constantly cleans all of his stuff. you wont find a speck of dust on anything okay?

he is also probably a decent spender on gacha games because he isn't very lucky (claims he has bad karma...👀)

but kaeya is actually very intelligent, so what he does contribute is always done exceptionally

overall studying with kaeya is really fun and cute, and he definitely knows you like him. he just enjoys teasing you too much.

so, childe likes to stream when he plays genshin, and his co-op partners always join his stream

until one day when he streams people see him in co-op with someone, but his stream is solo 🤨

chat goes wild trying to figure out who it is. when he notices, he just says it's his really good online friend and tries to laugh it off. but his fans know he's acting strange.

he promises his viewers that one day they will get to meet his friend, but only when the friend is comfy with it.

eventually you do, and after that, he almost always plays with you (whether you're on the stream or not)

normally, childe is pretty cocky when he plays games. he has a filthy mouth too 💀

probably jokingly flirts with his viewers too. sends a lot of winks and smirks.

when you hop on the stream though, his viewers can immediately tell the difference in his attitude

he's way softer, and he talks a lot less, preferring to ask you questions or for your opinion on his team/builds

he probably has cute or funny nicknames that are special for just you. his fans immediately know what's up.

childe has played co-op with other friends and streamers before, but he's never acted like this.

definitely has sweet nicknames for you and smiles a lot when you stream with him. nobody will remember your name because it's love or dear

zhongli likes it when you hold hands or link arms while walking. if you're shorter than him, he will slow his pace to match yours naturally

loves to tell you stories of the past or answer any questions you have. he likes seeing your eyes light up when he tells you stories about what he's done or seen

zhongli's not opposed to staying in either if you prefer that

he likes to curl up with you and read a book, listen to you talk, or just nap. he thinks it's sweet that you trust him enough to fall asleep on him. he wouldn't dare move though. he's old as hell and what's being stuck for an hour compared to 6000 years.

Personality: my shyness and awkwardness tend to get the best of me so I'm usually left by myself (tho I do like my alone time anyway) :'D  Despite that, I'm polite, genuine, empathetic and very understanding (to the point where some might think I'm naive?)
