But c’mon let’s be honest it’s something he does find very cute about you.
He likes that you’re such a contrast to him
And all the affection is nice when maybe he gets super Mega depressed or he’s just feeling more self-loathing than normal and is in dire need of affection and cuddles
He likes laying with his head on your lap while you play with his hair and he yaps at you for a while
Sollux isn’t usually the biggest physical affection person, but I do think he does love a good cuddle sometimes, it makes him feel wanted!
Also im just imagining sollux Doing something at his computer and you behind him with your arms over his shoulders or something trying to coax him into cuddling a while longer

Sometimes he feels like he doesn’t deserve it, like you’re too good for him
You’re always so sweet to him and he’s like this grumpy, depressed, sometimes irritable, mentally unstable mess!
But you’re always there to reassure him and he appreciates it a lot.
You tell him about all the stuff you love about him!! And he looks at you and goes

He just feels kinda lucky to have you a lot of the time.
Sometimes when it’s too loud in his head, you giving him some cuddles and stuff will either help a lot to ground him and give him something else to focus on, or overwhelm him a bit but it’s easy to tell which don’t worry
Because again sollux isn’t the HUGEST physical touch guy, but I think he’s good at telling you when he needs a little space
And that’s not to say he doesn’t appreciate it, you make him feel so loved, just a little too much from time to time lmao
Also, lots of cuddles while he’s busy playing on like, a troll version of a DS or Nintendo switch. Or some game on his phone
