Gyro, 

               First of all, I hate you. You think you’re so funny don’t you? Black licorice flavored gum? Disgusting. I can admit though… That would’ve been really funny if not for stupid circumstances. I can’t wait til I get back so I can hit you for this. Anyway, I was thinking about you today, so I thought I’d write this letter instead of recording a transmission. I don’t think those are going through anyway… But still. I like to record them. It’s nice to at least pretend that I’m getting through to everyone. 

            I hope you’re proud of me by the way. I’m teaching myself literal rocket science. You know?? It’s actually kinda fun! Super difficult, but I’m managing. Anything to get home to see my kids. Maybe we can talk about it when I get back! It’ll be fun to be able to contribute to the conversations. At least a little. 

            Anyway, not that you’re gonna see this letter, but uh, I kinda miss you. Gross. You’re a dumb jerk. But you’re also my best friend so I guess I kinda care about you. Hey I hope you’re seeing my kids!! You better tell them all the awesome stories about me. And don’t blame me for the laser thing. You know that wasn’t my fault. Okay maybe it kinda was. But YEAH, you better be making me sound like the coolest mom ever, because I am.
