Albums I would choose if I could only listen to five albums for the rest of my life
1. All hell - Los Campesinos!
This is my favourite of their albums and one of my all time favourite albums. Everything about it is perfect, musically, lyrically, flow as an album. Would not change a thing.
Favourite track: Holy Smoke (2005)
2. No Dream- Jeff Rosenstock
It was extremely close between this album and his most recent album "Hellmode" both of which were on repeat nonstop when I was 16. No Dream just about takes it as whilst Hellmode is an incredibly strong album I prefer the individual songs on No Dream. Punk rock 4ever etc etc
3. And everybody else smiled back - Bears in Trees
This album has been there for me through highs and lows. I have it on CD and when things are really rough I put it in the CD player and it always makes things feel a little easier. This album feels like home, especially as the first time I saw them live it was the tour for this album.
Favourite track: If I just asked politely
4. You're gonna miss it all - Modern Baseball
Another 10/10 perfect and blameless album. Relatable whiny emo stuff for whiny emos like myself. Storytelling, emotional, lyricism, the music itself, some gorg basslines what more could you want. "I'm in the same boat caught between my adolescent safety net and where the world wants me to be" me too man me too
Favourite track: Two good things
5. Hot Fuss - The Killers
This was one of the first albums I ever properly listened to it. My dad bought it for me on iTunes and put it on my little Nokia phone for me. So obviously its special to me, but of course it's also just a really good album. It's a classic for a reason plus I am white so I'm kind of legally obliged to have a thing for listening to Mr Brightside.
Favourite track: Change your mind
If anyone would care to tell me their 5 albums they'd pick I am a nosy person and would love 2 know
