Silvally Game Concept: there's enough visuals that it's not incoherent of solely reliant on out of context doodles and my handwriting, so might as well post.
This game is all about Silvally and going ham with its lore powers! No more item or four move limitation, unlimited type changes each battle and learn new and unusual moves. This hypothetical game would have three "phases" of play: Battle, Explore, and Tactical
1. Battle, where you fight strong opponents and puzzle how best to win using your full moveset and tactical type changes. (This was the core concept, but adding a plot to it meant we needed a bit more than an arcade battler) The core plot is around Ultra Beasts, but that's not the only opponents, and those opponents wont be tournament legal either.
2. Explore, where you navigate through the world and meet and interact with a wide variety of pokemon and solve how to stop the ultra wormhole crisis. One of those games where you wander around poking at stuff and talking to people. There's some choices in dialogue and tactics, though it isn't wide open freedom since our guy has opinions too. A lot of this phase is getting tools and allies for the other two phases, and most of the character stuff is here.
3. Tactical is an absolute pain to draw, even moreso than explore was. Basically there's places where you can't wander freely because Silvally is extremely conspicuous and makes humans antsy. So you get your buddies to help investigate leads and set things up for Silvally to get going. Each pokemon has different strengths and weaknesses, and higher bonds gives better bonuses.
Now for our main character: "Null"!
(Null did not choose this name but there were worse options. )
Null is an extremely powerful prototype and knows it. They can even change their types with the control mask on, and break it all together. Fortunately for Alola, Null also believes their job is to protect anyone and everyone, and help anyone who needs it. Extremely undersocialized. But willing to humor anyone trying to interact and learns quickly.
After befriending cosmog and escaping the facility, an Ultra Wormhole Crisis is opening up all over Alola. Null was made to fight Ultra Beasts, so they're immediately on the job. (With help.)
