Her words had him grin as his eyes drank in her beauty. He was in a gracious mood.

"If you wished to be pleased in return..." He started, his own hand coming to her shoulder, down her side and trail down to the apex of her thighs.

She knew she'd guessed right at his grin. It was a bold question for one in her position to ask, especially since she doubted that he understood her ranking within the red district. She was the top courtesan of the country, the favored of the Shogun. It gave her special privileges that few others had, yet as a foreigner he wouldn't know any of that. He probably thought this was just another whore house in the red district and didn't understand the difference.

Humming at his touch she leaned forward, lips brushing along his jaw as she purred. "Then what are you waiting for."

It had been too long. To long since she'd been taken properly and while she didn't let her hopes get up in the slightest, she was looking forward to seeing if he'd live up to his promises. After all, many men promised things that they couldn't deliver on.

It was nice to finally relax. Ikkaku hadn't been able to do that in months. Not since Law had his Hearts leave him on Punk Hazard with the promise they'd reunite on Zou. A promise he hadn't meant to keep, yet the Straw Hats had made it so. Then, of course, the alliance with the Straw Hats brought its own wave of stress, then everything that had happened since arriving on Wano, including the Raid on Onigashima...

Yeah, a good party was what everyone needed. But while she'd lived it up for most of the night, Ikkaku decided she needed a bit of peace, and this room overlooking the festivities seemed perfect. Apparently, the princess had felt similar. Sitting beside Hiyori, the engineer took a sip of her sake. Rum was her preference, but sitting beside a princess made her feel like she should look a little classier. A silly notion, but a persistent one. She was just so elegant, even when she smoked and lounged about. A true lady throughout, at least in Ikkaku's star-struck eyes. She was everything she'd pictured as a little girl reading stories about fairytale princesses.

Looking out the window at the men celebrating a hard-won victory, Ikkaku had to chuckle at the princess' response. She was right - it applied to all the men at the festival. Probably in the world, too. She shook her head as she observed the antics of said men. Kidd and Luffy having an eating contest, Sanji, Shachi, and Penguin swooning over the beautiful women, Chopper attempting to get Zoro to stop drinking since he was so heavily injured...

Then her eyes fell on Momonosuke, who was nursing a bump on his head from the smack Nami had given him. He would definitely have brain damage by the end of the night. Ikkaku found herself frowning as she observed the man who was just a child only a day or two ago.

Her gaze swept over the men on the other side of the window. This late into the evening they'd retreated to the palace, continuing the celebration in one of the personal courtyards of the royal family. Sanji was still cooking at the makeshift set up the servants had brought in and it was clear she'd been right to have them bring in copious amounts of booze before sending them off to enjoy their evenings.

A soft smile pulled at her lips as her gaze finally landed on her little brother even as a crease appeared between her brows. He was handsome, already attracting the attention of many of the country's women. As if his appearance alone was enough to make them forget that he was still just a child. That he'd sacrificed the years he could have had growing up naturally so that he could save the country. A weight he should never have had to carry in the first place.

Teal hues slide to Ikkaku, watching her for a moment before sadness touched her soft smile. "There has never been a female Shogun in Wano before. The title has always passed through the male line....to change that now when we have only just reclaimed our country would be unwise." Returning her gaze to her brother she continued. "But he will not be left to rule on his own. While he will be the face of our country he has myself and the remaining members of our father's retainers."

Sipping at her sake for a moment to wet her throat she then reached out and gently placed her hand on the other woman's arm. "Momonosuke has proven that he will listen to our council and we will never abandon him." Squeezing softly for a moment she pulled back, gaze returning to the party. "Yet even so.....he has given up more then he will ever know by allowing Shinobu to use her Juku Juku ability on him...."

It was something she was unsure if she'd ever be able to forgive the woman for. Yes, it had been her brother's orders and had helped him defend the country......yet at the cost of his childhood and teen years. Many would see him as he appeared and that alone. Then those who remembered would have to treat him as an adult due to his title and to help ensure people would see him as a strong leader.
