Demons and junk

 "Excuse me. .?" Kotetsu replied belatedly, shooting off a few quick blinks as the gentlemen in white then proceeded to invade his personal space and whisper in his ear in a rather. .strange tone. It was then Kotetsu started to feel a tad uncomfortable; The conclusion that this mans suit and general appearance wasn't the only thing odd about this particular character becoming all the more evident as they spoke. Not that he wasn't used to such an action with that one special little coworker, but still. It made him feel almost a bit nervous. . Maybe it was those teeth.

"Fancy?" Kotetsu groaned. "Can't they just leave that bit up to the wine drinkers? I don't see why they need to go off and make everything look and taste so unnecessarily. . jazzy. Next I bet they'll start doing that with beer. Shippin' it in bottles made of crystal and what not."

"Same— I've always found it had a much better kick to it anyway. But people now a days seem to like that fruity tastin' junk, and If ya ask me it's just covering up the taste of the drink with sugar."

                             ❝..Citizen?❞

             [ Soul repeated. Um, no—- more like l o s t. The teen looked up at the…weird, male..robotic thing. Yeeeah, something told him that he was far from Death City. ]

"Ah; I should've known. Ya don't look like most people here in town with the way yer walkin' around with that head in the clouds and mindless pacing."

Truth was Kotetsu had been having an awfully slow day himself; being placed on guard duty for bank and being stationed right on its door steps in the hopes that his presence there would deter any involvement of criminal activity. Personally he thought it was just some lame side job the company had assigned him to keep him out of trouble because of that latest incident—

                                                                {which wasn't entirely his fault by the way;;}

So that sorta left him with time to kill. And what better way was there then to help a soul in need?

             "So just how lost are you anyway? Got any idea where your Hotel is located?"

Too bad Mephisto wasn’t buying that— producing a grotesque face and a muttered, “Correct you are, as I can see…” Oh dear~ the jester saw through that fleeting hesitation! Best to not mention a certain someone’s pet peeve; lesson learnt we suppose.

He soon relinquished any further unsightly manners for a concealed question of his own instead:

"Trouble?" The veteran questioned; "No no nothing like that! In fact I think that maybe I'm the one who should be askin' that sorta question. ." Taking yet another moment to look at the strangely dressed man before speaking again. "I may not be what you call 'hip' or 'trendy. .but I don't think I've ever seen that sorta style worn here in Sternbuild before.' Unless he's some form of reject hero from the second league—
