I’m a father of three children. Our family lost our home, our belongings, and the life we had built. I also lost my job as an accountant, and since then I’ve been doing everything I can to keep my children safe and give them hope for a better future.

My children are also suffering from hepatitis because of contaminated water, which has made our situation even more difficult and painful.

My name is Ten and I am a twenty-four year old transgender autistic adult. I am also diagnosed with CPTSD and panic disorder. I am an American living in England on a spouse visa as of two years ago. I am on the long journey to become a permanent resident and solidify myself as a UK citizen. My situation in America wasn't spectacular, but I won't go into too much detail about any of that. My husband and I want to adopt a darling stray cat that appeared on our doorstep on the 24th of July. We have decided to name him Casper. A trusted friend has Casper as of the evening of the 27th of July and she will be taking care of him for a short time. In the meantime, we are working to create a proper space for Casper in our current home - but Casper cannot stay here permanently. (This is not out of cruelty! Several of the members of our family are allergic to cats!) In order for us to keep Casper, my husband and I need to move out of his family home. We already had a slow(er) moving plan for us to move out, but Casper has given us a reason to make that a much faster moving plan. The additional support from you will make it possible for us to bring Casper home sooner rather than later. I write these words to you with a heart full of pain because Israel killed my mother and older brother, and we live here as if we could die at any moment. I don't know if my wife, child, and I will survive; perhaps we will die because of the Israeli bombing.

I am appealing to you with a heart filled with pain, loss, and fear for my family's lives. My wife lacks the necessary treatment, my child under two years old lacks food, and my wife, who is five months pregnant, desperately needs the necessary treatment and healthcare for her unborn child.

I am asking for your mercy and assistance for a grieving family who own nothing. We lost our home due to Israeli bombing and are now living in tents in a tragic situation. We need your help and support. We simply want to secure the basic needs of my wife and child.

In Gaza, everything is falling apart around us. Life here is becoming harder every single day, and even the simplest things feel impossible to find.

In the middle of all this, my father is getting worse. He is in the hospital, and every day we struggle to provide his treatment and medication.

It’s not just fear anymore, it’s the feeling that we are losing him while we stand helpless.
