While he was sleeping yesterday I added more rocks to Lysander's enclosure. Eco Earth serves to fill in the cracks and crevices, keeping the rocks in place. Also, Lysander likes to dig in it, so it's in both of his main hides, along with sphagnum moss in cool hide. He's not big on change, and I can see he's about to shed, so no pictures of Lysander right now....he's a little cranky. 🙄 The slate is from outside...scrubbed disinfected, and sanded. This process took a couple days. The big grape wood branch was donated. I'm not sure I would have chosen it otherwise, however it does add a little dimension to his enclosure and he does like to climb on it sometimes. The leaf vines (also donated) are meant to give him a sense of safety so he doesn't feel so exposed. They also serve as filter from full spectrum lighting with 7% uvb...which points toward the back of the terrarium behind his main hide. He does sit under it occasionally. Other times he just exposes foot, tail or snout to the light for a few minutes each day. #lysander #ecoearth #coconutfiber #raptorgecko #raptor #macksnow #leopardgecko #gecko #lizard #lizardlover #reptile #crepuscular #smallanimals #exotics #geckolover #geckofever#terrarium #vivarium #slate #cork #reptiles #natural #arcadiareptile #lightyourreptiles #uvbreptile #naturalisticvivarium #exoterra #herps #herplife #reptilehouse (at Greensboro, North Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/BoxBTJ0AuT-/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1316vw6gvfb1b
