Let love last

Not sure if I already mentioned it here on my blog, but I’m already an employed citizen! A few months ago, I landed a job for at one of the leading shopping supermalls in the country. This has been a big step for me towards independence. (Yes, I pay for my own bills and groceries now. Thank God my parents haven’t kicked me out of the house yet!) However, working for a mall can have be expensive.

Lately, I’ve been into basic outfits. Anything pastel, white, or black is what you’ll find all over my wardrobe.

What’s Taiwan without getting to see the main attraction, Taipei 101? The latter part of our trip was dedicated to site seeing and making sure we were able to try a lot of “only in Taiwan” things (mainly their food hehe). 

To cap my year, my family and I took a trip to the States. But prior that, we decided to have our layover at Taiwan. For the longest time, I’ve been wanting to visit Taiwan. Mainly because I’ve heard it’s home to many established food concepts (Hot Star and Chatime, just to name a few).

What I liked the most about Taiwan was how clean, safe and organized they were. Also, the locals were very accommodating to tourists. 

During our trip, we also got to spend time with our relatives. Meet my sister, Dane, and my cousin, Bea. I’m so glad they were both game to get lost in the streets of Taiwan with me.

We were fortunate to experience the cold weather there. It was some how a “warm up” before we got to the States (winter time woooo). The first half of our layover was entirely dedicated to shopping at street markets, street food, and getting the hang of their MRT stops. 

It’s crazy how fast time flies. Just a blink ago, I was just about to start college. Now I’m part of the FUNemployed life. Here are some things about me to keep you up to speed.

Finally got my very first liquid lipsticks! These are the LA Splash Lip Couture ones that I got as a gift.

Overall, I like this product because it stays on my lips ALL DAY. It lasted me through greasy meals and numerous wipes. The pigmentation is so good and I find myself only using one layer, how cool is that. The downside about this product is it may be drying for some lips and you may need to use cleansing oils to remove this from your lips.

Here’s a look you could use with this type of lippie! :)

It’s always been a struggle finding that one bag that would match your outfit. Been eyeing bucket bags for a long time and I’m so glad I got to get my hands on them! :)

Mid-2015, my friends and I had the luxury of visiting Singapore. This was the first time I’ve traveled by plane without parents, and the first one I’ve personally funded and have saved for. It was a such a blessing since it had been the first international trip I’ve had after 8 years. 

What’s not to love about the streets of Singapore? During our stay there we made it our agenda to find the hipster streets, explore ‘till we couldn’t feel our feet, and eat like the locals do.

Fresh start! A few updates about the life of Gabriella Marquez:

I’ve finally moved house. After months of house hunting, my family settled somewhere down south. It’s been nothing but a blessing to finally live in a house where I can stretch my legs each morning. 

Down to my term at De La Salle University. Excited, scared, sentimental, and relieved all at once. I felt like my stay in school was too fast but at the same time I can’t wait to spread my wings and dive into the real world. 

Had a couple of adventures here and there. Will hopefully sort all the clutter in my laptop soon and come up with a little #fbf #tbt of my escapades.
