Btw doesn't Alya know Monarch was cataclysmed a few weeks before the final battle? I feel like that was an important factor that helped BugNoire win the 1v1 ("Gabriel" in this case)🤔
⬆️ BEHOLD! The only happy scene in the entire episode! This was actually adorable and I had to replay it at least 5 times before moving forwards watching the rest of the ep
It's surely gonna take a bit to get used to Tom & Sabine knowing about Marinette being Ladybug, but it already brought a smile to my face❤️
This is so sweet, loved their gentle voices trying to reassure eachother that everything is okay. They're being super supportive, bringing Mari and Tikki snacks when they returned from an akuma battle (after worrying the whole time about her safety), checking on her and offering to wash her Magical Hero Suit!
I think they're gonna be very important next season, when the Secret gets out and Mari will have to survive the consequences... Also, Tom asking why doesn't she tell Adrien about her secret identity feels like foreshadowing to me ngl 👀
My nervous laughs synced with Mari's as he explained his "wonderful project", everything he pointed out or showed I was like "NOOOO" or "Yayyyy great idea Adrikins😀" *dies inside**feels a stab in the heart**pain*
Oh my lil Mari, you messed up real bad here.. She dug herself a grave so deep in LadyChaos that it's been biting her ever since (as it should tbh), first the portrait, then the hallucinations, now the Gabriel Museum and Adrien using the interviews as a base/inspiration for the project, it's wild (did Nathalie approve of this??). No Museums for Garbagiel Trashgreste, please Adrien!😵
This is sooo baddd, my boy, listen to Plagg and make a Cheese Museum instead! Not only he seems to have bought all the lies they've fed him in LadyChaos, but he's also about to open an entire Wholesale Shopping Mall to make a living by selling those Lies he feasted with at the banquet 💥
You know what, Adrien? Screw the museums and run away from that house, RUN far from there, disappear or move elsewhere, just leave that prison now!!!
Maribug unintentionally *Created* her own personal hell over time, how's she getting out of it? Please girl, at least give Adrien the letter if you can't bring yourself to tell him with words💔 (I'm still suspecting Gimmi -and Gabriel- have something to do with her inability to talk about it btw)
And he keeps bringing up the fact that it's all Thanks to HER (guilt tsunami pro max) and that they're super duper honest and open with eachother about their issues (is he actually for real or is he teasing? He's Chat Noir and he knows she's been hiding stuff since at least Heartfixer -the letter- or all the other small inisgnificant things in other eps😭)
Imma add this as my (maybe) Last update to the "Clues Adrien might piece together to find out the Truth on his own", because he's very convincing and seems for real, but I dunno if I trust he isn't acting at all💥

Also not them "Starting" and "Ending" under the Rain... (Another ChatBlanc Parallel??): Before it was them together at school on top of the staircase; This time she's sitting on the stairs alone with no umbrella over her head and he's locked at home in his empty room☔️ (& In ChatBlanc it was her sitting on stairs while crying under the rain, holding the umbrella after breaking up)
[⬆️ From what I've heard s7 will pick up right from here, or at least it'll be a direct continuation of Nemesis with an opening 2-parter, so all the unanswered questions and open plotlines will continue next season]
Alya's the MVP of the episode fr (again), what a Queen, not only for managing yet another insane plan (getting an illusion akumatized somehow??), but also for clocking Mari after finding out about Gabriel, how Mari has lied to her and manipulated her into lying (Another LadyChaos mention), but still choosing to "forgive her", to continue being her 'stand-in' (does she mean Scarabella?), offered her a chance to explain herself (way better than her reaction in Revelator) and told her she's not gonna reveal it to Adrien, as Mari's the one who should tell him the Truth.
Loved how she knows Marinette so well, when she tried to escape the conversation by questioning her daring to think she'd ever lie to her bestie, Alya said:"Do I think Marinette Dupain-Cheng would do anything in order to protect other people, even if it means destroying her own life? Yes." ; And that she immediately figured out the reason why she decided to lie to the entire world was to protect Adrien! PEAKKKK 💥
However, I don't know what their relationships will look like next season, after she said they won't be best friends anymore if she lies to her again.. We'll see...

⬆️ This shot of Ladybug pressed against the wall by Nemesis about to shoot the beam at her reminded me of HTTYD 1 when the dragons are about to blast a character, but they are stopped/the viking dodges it (Meatlug vs Hiccup in the First Day at the Arena and Stoic vs Toothless after the Hookfang fight)
The 'Friendly Fire Sparring' I thought would've happened between Ladynoir for Chat Noir to vent his anger without hurting her (the suit protects them), when the Truth had come out (might still happen in s7), seems to actually have happened as an Alyanette Fight instead! (Sort of)
This also feels like a "Marinette Vs Herself": Ladybug is 'Protecting the People she Loves' by rescuing the Miraculers that get hit and also by keeping the Secret hidden (but knowing deep down it's wrong), she's hurting herself as she gets thrown around, crushed by guilt and pain. While Nemesis is Advocating for the Truth to come out, as it's the right thing to do, but is hurting her friends in the process (turning em into stone). Nemesis defeats Ladybug in the fight after LB lets herself get hit by her powers, just as things were supposed to go, according to their plan (fate?).
I LOOOOOVE THIS DESIGNNN OMG, IT'S EVEN BETTER THAN I THOUGHT FROM THE TRAILER!!!! Love the way she moved, her looks, her powers and the action! Valkyre Angel Of Marble! Even if it was just the illusion of Maribug controlled by Alya it fits both of them so well either way 🤩
I love wings in general and I love all the akuma villains with wings (DarkCupid was my fav since s1 came out, cuz of the wings lol), wings is love, wings 4 life, bat wings, bird wings, bug wings, they're epic and she used em in such a cool way! As a Shield even!!!🪽
A bit sad it wasn't actually Mari akumatized, but I loved how violent this battle was (Alya let out all the anger, I guess it felt good): petrifying multiple Miraculers and smashing Ladybug around into buildings/streets/vehicles.
The dust effects of them hitting the various surfaces were very cool and the way the laser beam activated was so creepy! I love her so much, might be one of my fav akuma villain designs 🦋
Idk how did they manage to akumatize an illusion. The only thing I can think of is Alya projected her emotions onto it: since she was extremely mad (In fact everything she made Nemesis say was her venting her thoughts about the Lie at Maribug), so she channeled all of it on the Mirage and Crysalis felt it. Ripping the photo was needed so the illusion had something physical the akuma could infect🤔
It's like... Alya is mad and hiding behind the nearby wall, but Crysalis felt the anger *next to Alya* (the Mari illusion) instead of *into Alya* I'm still a bit confused too ngl lol
Roosterbold Spotlight!!🐓 He looks so fabulous, I love his new design sm! The pen and the "claw" look so good, the shiny gold parts of the costume, the electric blue tailcoat, the shape of the jacket's notch!! And it's also really hard to tell that he's Marc, his appearence changes so much, Quantum Masking or not! Love ittttttttt 🤲
Maybe next season we'll get his own focus episode and even his first transformation sequence, along with the other heroes who are also waiting for the updated version of their own! (Kinda hope they remake LB's one, cuz she was completely outshined by all the Peak sequences that came in later episodes!)
I was happy go see him help with LB's plan and his creative use of Sublimation to make the illusion tangible! And they also explained a lil better how his powers actually work (I think Orikko was kinda lying in s5 when the Kwamis were explaining their powers to Gabe).
Did you know that you can actually have a similar effect irl? With Magnetic fields! It's called Magnetic Levitation and High Velocity Trains use it to make the Train "Float" and reduce friction! I remember there's also something similar, but with air vents pushing objects to float, on a smaller scale, but I cannot remember what the effect is called.. I'm sure some of you have seen it in an interactive Science Museum, if you've ever visited one (you should, they're fun)💭

I had to replay the scene a few times, cuz I kept getting distracted by their flabbergasted faces when two Marinettes appeared ("Two Ladybugs? I'm in Heaven!" vibes lol), ChatNoir noticing the Ripped Portrait of Gabriel and him resisting the urge to ask to be left behind so he could hang out with Marinette.. Ehm- I mean- Protect her in case the villain arrives or something, just in case!!!

He's an absolute idiot I love him so much! Where did he pull this new "Cat Alert" from, also I couldn't tell if he said "Cat Alert" or "Chat Noir" (So I casually had to replay it multiple times.. Oh no! How dare I replay this funny bit?! Anyway 'Alert' makes more sense), either way he's a sillyness goof master, no one can beat him in unseriousness😭
He also called LB "Bugaboo" (3rd/4th time this season I think) in front of the Two Marinettes... Good news is none of the 3 minded it at all, Bugaboo Nation We Won!!! /jk
Lila is Insane for setting all her hard work on fire in a second, she's wild, she's crazy! But also very smart because the if Heroes got their hands on those notebooks it wouldn't have gone as well as it did for her😬
And that she transformed into certain categories of people (kid, firefighter, pregnant woman), that if the heroes jumped any of them the civilians would run to protect the "innocent person" (disguised Lila), making the heroes look bad as result...
Btw, I'm also thinking the fact she's now lost all her notebooks as well as the heroes now know her previous lair and even heard her voice (which she probably isn't aware of), they even figured out she can shapeshift and they're making new Secret Protocols to make sure they recognize eachother is gonna be putting her in a bit of trouble next season.
Another thing about her losing all her notes and having to find a new lair, might connect to the Theory that the London Special hasn't happened for Lila yet: she had no books in the Special and she was in a different room than the one in s6, just like she'll be now that her lair has been burned down and still no explaination for the Blue Light at the end of season 5👀
She's insane... Everything on fire... All the stuff in her lair... NOOO THE WIGS, HOW CAN SHE LIVE WITHOUT HER WIG COLLECTION!!?!?!😭💔

Alyanette is already almost destroyed, Adrienette is about to be crushed even harder. Lila is gonna spread mistrust between the holders, now that they know she can shapeshift into one of them... Maybe there's no Traitor at all, maybe it's Cryasalis herself the s7 Synopsis is referring to:"Some people around her aren't who they seem and could betray her at the first opportunity."

Anyway, again, I've heard that the first two episodes of s7 are going to be the direct continuation of Nemesis (so it's like a '4 part' episode?), other than make us see s6 in a new light/from a different perspective.
I think this episode is basically showing the exact middle of the conflict without the start (which was in the rest of the season) and without the ending, which is gonna get resolved/expanded on in s7... Nemesis is like the fundamental central bridge in between the two seasons, so all the unresolved questions will continue in the future (Which was obvious since the start as s6 is basically like a "Season 1" for the new arc, they set the foundations for the future Storylines and introduced all the needed plotpoints)
The biggest "unresolved plotline" is that Marinette needs to wear the QiPao for longer, it's way too beautiful to show up only in one scene...😔
