“You’re late.” Stated the rather snippy man, thinking Giorno the missing actor and led him along. “Shush!” He’d say if the blonde tried to say anything. Standing beside him, he knocked on a trailer door rather loudly, calling for Juji. The door opened slowly, a blinking girl appeared. “Hello Smithers, I’m ready-” Stopping mid sentence, her blue eyes looked to Giorno. Looking upon him she smiled. “Smithers, this isn’t Marcus.” A small giggle at the director’s mistake and blush. “It is alright though… you can stay if you’d like.” Addressing the blonde stranger who was slightly taller than she.

“My name is Juji Julija, what is your name?” Unafraid to take his hand, she led him around and showed him the set. “This movie is loosely based off of different gangs.” She whispered and let go of his hand as she returned back to her trailer and took off her robe, throwing it inside and closing the door. “My scene is next, and if you’d like to take Marcus’ place you are more than welcome to.” He played a passer by who greets Juji. Simple.

“Are you sure I can stay?” Giorno thought he’d be immediately escorted off set, after the little blunder. His curiosity about this movie wasn’t at the point that he wanted to stay and watch what was happening, but the actress’ casual invite was a bit surprising- even more so when she offered for him to play the missing actor’s role. 

I shouldn’t interrupt your filming, Giorno would have said, until she mentioned that the movie was based off of gangs. How funny; who would’ve thought his life would be so entwined with the mafia, that he would even wander into the set of a movie based on such things? More out of amusement, and also the fact that whoever this ‘Marcus’ person was hadn’t yet shown up, Giorno replied:

  Bernadotte nodded back to him as he closed the distance between them. “I have. Turns out that I just flat-out can’t be killed by conventional or nonconventional means and I can go anywhere in the world in the literal blink of an eye.”

“That sounds very convenient.” And dangerous, too- he was practically someone who couldn’t be killed, unless one found a way to get around that ability. Well, not that Giorno was aiming to kill Bernadotte in any way, but he had a tendency to be wary of Stand users.

As she sat waiting for her order, Masumi checked her phone for any messages she may have missed. It just happened to be by a chance of fate that she glanced up and noticed a familiar flash of color along with a golden shine, making her do a double take.

He…He was here again! Despite all she thought, he actually appeared in her life again. Maybe she could finally introduce herself! Well…if she could get the courage. It was hard enough the first time with so much confidence and gold radiating off of him. It seems the chains of fate had another idea in mind however as he looked up and locked eyes with her, seeming just as surprised as her.

Ah-!

Her cheeks turned a rosy pink as she quickly avoided his gaze, going back to her phone; she definitely remembered him.

Oh god, she was caught staring, how embarrassing… Despite her remembering him, would he even remember who she was? Surely such a person has many people he knows with all that charisma. Now what should she do? She wanted to talk to him but after he caught her like that she might embarrass herself more. She could almost feel her own stand judging her. Actually, she was sure it was. Universe had notified the girl of Giorno’s almost-robbery attempt, but she didn’t believe it. He had been so nice and seemed sincere, he couldn’t have been a charming thief…could he? 

Of course things couldn’t have gone as smoothly as Giorno had hoped. That expression on her face was a sign of anything but a person who didn’t recognise him. Though she looked away quickly, a blush on her cheeks, there was no doubt in Giorno’s mind that she would approach him eventually. 

There were two options now. The first: Giorno could continue sitting here, pretending he didn’t know her. When the girl approached, he would act surprised; if she mentioned anything about the pickpocketing incident, he would act like he knew nothing of it, and that would be that. The standard option.

But there was also the second- instead of waiting for her to make up her mind on whether or not to start a conversation with him... 

“Excuse me,” Giorno called out. “You’re the girl from the other day, right? The one who had just arrived in Naples.” If he was the one who approached her first, it would, at the very least, have her cast some doubt on whether or not he’d tried to pickpocket her. That was what Giorno hoped would happen, at least. 

Had he somehow make a wrong turn? No- this was most certainly the street that Giorno usually crossed. But things were different; not only was there more people than usual, cameras and sound equipment had been set up around the area. Though he intended on slipping away without being noticed, it seems someone had noticed him.
