Writers: Sign-Ups open from the 14th until the 24th of JUNE Artists/Beta Readers: Sign-Ups open from the 14th of June until the 15th of JULY

Entries must be gcest or have the gcest as a main focus.

It's possible to sign up both as a writer and artist, but you can't claim your own work.

All of this is to make an advent-calendar for the documentary, so ideally we start publishing the 11th of August (but it’s not a hard deadline, the most important thing is to have fun)

AI is not allowed (either generative or for editing). If you need grammar/spelling checks there’s plenty of people that signed up as a Beta Reader (and it’s so much more fun). 

WRITERS INFO:

The minimum fic length is 2500 words, there's not a maximum word count.

You’ll have 7 weeks in total, with the artist pair up in the middle of July. By the artist's claim you should have at least half fic written (or the equivalent), all the Tags and Warning, the sexual dynamic (if applicable), and a little summary. 

CONTENT:

We’ll follow the Kinktomato rule “Your Kink Is Not My Kink (And That's OK)". You have no content restriction, the only thing you need to do is to disclose all the Tags and Warnings for the claiming process, (to make it very clear for the artist and the beta-reader if they want to work on your story). 

For publication you can choose how to warn your readers or use the "Creator choose to not use archive warning" (and not disclose all the tags).

BETA INFO:

You can work with your usual Beta reader, put your fic up for one to claim it anonymously or not work with one at all. If you work with your usual Beta let them join by signing up in the form.

SCHEDULING INFO:

For the writing process you'll have in total 7 weeks, the artist will work in 3 weeks.

There will be two artist claims, one at the end of JUNE and one at the end of JULY. 

After the claiming process you’ll talk with your artist and exchange info and your draft, you’ll talk about the story and the important bits of the fic (if you haven’t been able to flash it all out yet). 

You’re responsible for keeping each other informed on your draft, but there will be two check-ins to inform me of how the story is going, and one check-in for the artist  (to allow me to organize the publication schedule).

(only for the people that already have an early draft (half fic or equivalent), in two weeks we'll have the second (and last) ealy draft form)

Hello! I would love for more gcest artists to join in outside of tumblr, I'll probably create an account there to see if someone wants to sign in, even if it makes me a bit uneasy since it's full of antis and I don't want to invite their attention.

Yes, it's an opt-in thing! You can work with your usual Beta reader, ask for one to claim your fic or not work with one at all if it's not your modus-operandi.

What I have seen in previous mini-bangs is that the writer posts the fic on AO3 with the artwork embedded in (and with proper credits to their artist and a link to their page) The artist also posts their work crediting the writer on their favorite platform (Tumblr ofc, but if it's nsfw I recommend also AO3, or a blog that allows the view of the nsfw artwork (Twitter and Tumblr don't allow that)).

Basically, you can choose where to post it but everyone should be able to click on a link and have access to the artwork without making an account on a platform or have to pass an ID verification.

If you don't want to post on your page for some reason, you can just send it to the writer and they will post it with their fic and credit you. I don't know if this answer your question, I'll leave two links of a previous wincest mini-bang I did with ani_coolgirl, if you want to have a look.

You're allowed to drop out of course, but I would encourage to do this before the Artist Claim ( which will be around 16 of July ((these days I've been pretty busy with work and I have yet to post the calendar where I explain the dates)).

Not a lot of artists signed up, so if you think you can't make it I would not go through the claiming system, but if you think you can still finish the fic, albeit late, that's not a problem; we can push it and find a solution.

For the writing process you'll have in total 7 weeks, the artist will work in a much tighter schedule, 3 weeks (I'm trying to see if we can have two art claiming since half of the writers comes in with a wip, so the artists can have more time, or do two artworks if they want!).

Hello! I wasn't very sure about the answer so it took me a moment, but since the working flow between writers and betas is much more intertwined (and we have little time) you can bring your own beta to the mini-bang.

They just need to sign up in the form and then tell me they are gonna be paired.

Hi! It's ok for them to be at the developing stage, no problem! We should just be able to tell that it's not just a brotherly love, even if they are not fully conscious of it still.
