Had a nice conversation with an MBA student today who was interviewing me as part of his thesis research...but at one point he said a particular phrase and my immediate reaction was "oh I know who else you've talked to about this"

#a colleague of mine has written a book with the particular phrase as its title (several several yrs old now)#like it's a good and relevant phrase and everything but just so funny to hear this random guy say it #said colleague is really well known in the industry so it's nice to know he makes time for that kind of stuff #technically the interviews are anonymous but apparently the colleague was like 'you can tell whoever you want that you talked to me'#honestly makes me wonder if someone who knew me professionally could identify my statements out of the crowd
