I haven’t played ffxiv since endwalker. I used to play on a ps4 that has seen better days.
I do have a switch2 and decided to download the free trial to maybe see if it was worth subing to again.
😳 trying to get into my square enix account is like fort knox. Idk what my id, or pass is, 🤦🏾 i have the app token authenticator still on my phone but that’s not logged into either and I’m probably going to need that to :p
It took 4 hours to download the game and i wished i thought about login stuff before now 😓
I got to the log in screen and immediately was like fml.
:p i wasn’t planning on playing that much tonight, just got hyped thinking of a new character to play around in character creation with (still on the fence of hellsgaurd roegadyn female or xaela au ru male)
🤞🏾 i can get into it tomorrow 😅. It might be worth making a new square enix account. But i would consider syncing my ps4 characters at some point, if a transfer is available for the switch 2 🫠

To log into the app i need a password from SE account management system…to log into the SE account management system i need the one time passcode from the app. To get into the app i need the password from the account management system *rinse and repeat*
I can remove the need to for the auth log in at the SE Mog station site…with an emergency password i would have created a while ago ( best guess probably back when Stromblood came out) if i ever wrote down that pass its on my old laptop that i have been meaning to transfer documents over from for a while now but the power cord is slightly mia… (its in the wire junk drawer, like 90% its tangled up with a bunch of other miscellaneous wires and i’ve put off digging though and untangling wires from.)

Could not find the charger for my old laptop in the junk drawer, kinda surprised cause i really thought it was in there, dug super deep and found...something reallly unexpected. In the back were family photos that my uncle took over a decade ago, and sifting through the photos there was an old old nyc that i presume he also took. How old was the nyc picture…

Protip if you are playing on switch2 😅 make sure to turn off auto sleep for the console. :p putting the switch to sleep durring game play will disable your internet connection 😮💨
