Stay Outta Vi's Way!

“Well I just broke into to the enforcers apartment, she seems cute when she is tired and better yet.” 

He said in a calm tone a voice like he was just casually saying it, he reached in his pocket to get the note, once he took it out, he paused for a moment thinking what memory this might trigger if he gave this to her, but one could only wonder as he looked at her, then holding out the note in his hand to her.

“Your former gang members got in contact with me and they wanted me to give you this, of course I peeked and it was just a list of all the members that are still alive and how they are doing.” 

She rubbed her eyes once again, yawning rather loudly as he spoke, perking up some at the mention of her previous gang members. It had been quite some time since she had even seen them, let alone spoke to them. She took the note, scanning it over, uncaring that Ekko had been nosy.

The woman froze in her step, however, the glow causing her to take a few more back. That color… it looked familiar. And while she couldn’t initially put a name to the color, the face of the boy in front of her certainly helped out.

“…What the hell are you doin’ here this late at night?”

“I just came for a visit..” He began to look down, to see his note  on the ground just.. laying there, it settled him down now that she didn’t see the note in front of the shower even though he thought he had it in his pockets, he kneeled down to pick up the note, sliding it into his back pants pocket then stood back up to come in eye contact with the enforcer. 

Her irritation was apparent, more so with the fact that the precious, precious sleep she so wanted was interrupted by this kid in front of her. Sighing, Vi ran a hand through her hair, ignoring the paper he had seemed to pick up. She rubbed her eyes and even yawned some, relaxing only slightly. Ekko was nothing to fear in her eyes.

“No shit. It’s almost like I like havin’ people not break into my place. Besides, who here in Piltover has the balls to try and ransack my apartment, huh?”

There was truth in that statement. There was hardly a person in this city who hated themselves enough to try breaking into Vi’s home. The vengeance would be swift and painful and no one, perhaps, was courageous enough. Not that the officer had many possessions that would catch the eye of the common thief.

As Jayce helped the woman drink, she gulped down much more water than expected. Clearly, she was way thirstier than previously thought, sighing and almost needing to catch her breath once she pulls away.

Not that she was opposed to the care and affection that she had been receiving since passing out at Jayce’s place. Really, she was having the time of her life, hangover and all.

As the hot day slowly turn into a cold night, it was sure to Ekko he could have made a mistake of going over to Piltover again. He was wearing a a short blue shirt that only covered his chest but didn’t cover his stomach but he was toned for his size so he sometimes would like to show it off. Wearing bagging pants with tight blue  wrapped knee socks to cover most of his foot and it wrapped up most up to his knee so his legs was completely covered, his foot, the only thing that was exposed was his toes and heel. Also with the blue wrapping over his hands like gloves, they made a good grip to to his sword. It glowed a yellow color in the night and gave him light to move around also help him get out a trouble walking around Piltover being a wanted  criminal. Also with his Zero drive that was always on his waist back side when he was on the move, was a yellow time turner which also helped him but also wasn’t enough at times. His face was soft featured but with his red mask over his nose and mouth, but it didn’t cover his light blue eyes and the white markings on his forehead, also with the gold pieces on the side of his head. His hair was white and in a spiky pony tail that was held together by a gold rubber band 

As per usual on such a day, Vi decided to close it out with a few of the beers she stored in her refrigerator. Cheap, sure, but they got the job done. With a few of them finished off after a couple of hours of relaxing, the officer retreated into her bedroom. It was hardly used, most of her sleep being had on her couch, generally when she had been unable to stay awake any longer, generally in front of her television. Tonight, Vi figured a much more restful sleep would be had in her bed for once.

She stumbled back into her bedroom and practically flopped onto the mattress, worming her way under the blankets. She wriggled out of her work clothes, clearly skilled in such a lazy maneuver. It was usually the way the pinkette managed to get out of her clothes after a long day.

Only a couple of hours passed before she heard the sound of the bat slamming against her power box. It jolted her awake, hands up, ready to punch the lights out of any intruder.

“…What in the fuck…”

Groggy, annoyed, and half awake, Vi shoved the blankets off of her body. She stood up, grumbling to herself. Dressed underclothes, the woman managed to slink into the hallway, making her way to the power box to make sure it hadn’t blown a fuse.

“Sonuva bitch...”

The bathroom was the closest room to hers. She opened the door after a moment of preparation, fists at the ready, just in case. It was an instinctive action; she was always ready from confrontation. Curiously, the dim light behind the shower caught her attention and she approached it, cautiously.

“It’s not going to happen. Go on.”

Once the fist landed, she jerked her hand back, preparing to wind up another punch. She bounced on her toes, entirely in her element, a wide grin spread across her face.

“If they’re insured, then there’s nothin’ to worry about, right? Come on, you gotta do better than that. I didn’t even hit you that hard!”

She slipped into her fighting stance, hands raised, body swaying slightly. Those blue eyes of her were focused on every move the other made, already thinking of new angles to hit her from.

All of that concentration was broken, however, once she watched Jinx fall over. It took every ounce of strength within the officer to hold in the snickering and laughter so desperately seeking to spill.

“Y-You okay?”

Laugh away, she thought, eyes hardening. 

“I’m fine,” she replied in a clipped tone, flicking her bangs out of her eyes and assuming the fighting stance again. 

I will learn to fight, she promised. And then we’ll see who’s laughing and who’s on the ground. 

“Hit me with your best shot, then!”
