i have very specific opinions on Roy (he’s my favorite) and some of the fandom arguments surrounding him but i wanna delve into them some other time. For now just uh enjoy this ig lol.

every attribute people list to justify that claim is something im insecure about as a transmasc person. They cite his short height, shrill voice and 'femanine’ face. all things i hate about myself/make me feel dysphoric. And ppl see that and go 'oh he must be trans a cis guy cant possibly look like that’. In short, it’s a long way of saying a GUY can’t possibly be like that period. It feels like a roundavout way of categorizing trans men as something other than men by feeding into gender stereotypes. I understand some people do it as a form of projection, but to specifcally pick him for the reasons listed above leaves a bad taste in my mouth as a transmasc person who has insecurities about not passing properly for the exact reasons listed. It’s like if someone profiles him, whats to stop them from profiling me.
