Kasumi Toyama wakes up in the scramble crossing of Shibuya with no memories of her life or even her name. Unbeknownst to her, she has been entered into a 7 day long death game known as "The Reapers Game"

Kasumi struggles to trust her "Partner", Aya, but the two girls have no choice but to work together to survive.

Aya shows determination to assist Kasumi no matter what, however, this determination soon begins to backfire...

Tensions from the previous day loom over Kasumi and Aya, but Kasumi hopes to make things right between them. Kasumi bonds with a girl named Natsuki, who leads a band called CHiSPA, However, Aya is cautious about this bond...

Aya and Kasumi team up with Ran and Kokoro, and thanks to a seemingly easy mission, the four are able to simply bond with eachother. However, behind this seemingly peaceful day is a plot with deadly intentions...

🍍Tatsuyo Odaiba, “BISHOP”🍍

Pronouns: They/Them

School: Hanasakigawa

Likes: Musubi, Pineapple

BISHOP is Third Wave’s Sax player, skilled due to playing in a Jazz Band at school. They’re a member of a rich family, but barely acts the part.

We asked the members of the band what they think about BISHOP!

KING: “Uhh… lowkey I get confused by BISHOP a lot… they’re a schemer type and that just confuses me! They probably only have our best interests in mind but… I dunno, it’s kinda hard to trust someone like them.”

QUEEN: “I think I understand BISHOP more than most people… or at least I hope I do, sometimes there are things people just won’t tell eachother, they see all those things and act to make sure they’re resolved, even if it’s difficult… so uhm, that makes them a good friend?”

ROOK: “BISHOP is so kind! I mean, maybe not *so* so kind but they’ve always been my best friend! They give me snacks and take me shopping… and they always have some fun story to tell! I wish they got along better with everyone… but I think we’re all starting to grow closer!”

KNIGHT: “…Ugh. I’ve never met anyone more disagreeable than BISHOP. I don’t even want my thoughts posted, if they read this they’ll probably find some way to mock me for it. …If you are reading this BISHOP, you’re confusing and I dislike you. But you already know that.”

BISHOP: “Ahahah! Wow! Everyone’s responses are golden! Guess I lean too hard into being a troublemaker, hope that’s not lessening any stranger’s opinion’s of me. C’mon, I’m more fun than I seem! Come find me after shows I’ll give you free stuff! I charge for signatures though!”

📓Sayuki Kirara, “KNIGHT”📓

Pronouns: She/Her

School: Shirayuki

Likes: BBQ Pork Buns, Persimmons

KNIGHT is the pro-level drummer of Third Wave, formerly played in a band that was very serious to her. Lives life with a strict working mindset.

We asked the members of the band what they think about KNIGHT!

KING: “KNIGHT gives me mixed signals sometimes… she’ll say she’s excited at one point and say she’s grumpy at another… I know she likes this band, but I want her to really realllly have fun with us someday!”

QUEEN: “KNIGHT might seem like a bold and brash person, but I can notice that she doubts herself a lot, I can relate to that doubt enough to know that she’s a girl just like us, even if there’s a massive skill floor between her and everyone else…”

ROOK: “I like KNIGHT a lot! She’s grumpy sometimes and dressed like a punk, but I promise she’s a big softie most of the time! She’s kinda like a bird looking over a nest sometimes, but she doesn’t really get that we’re not baby birds, all of us are looking after her too!”

KNIGHT: “What? My feelings? Am I supposed to boast or something…? Ugh, if I had to say anything… I’m the type of person who won’t give up, even after getting kicked down. Right now I’ve chosen to stick with Third Wave, but I won’t give up on my dreams if things don’t work out.”

BISHOP: “She probably said something like ‘I’ll never give up!’ Right? Ahhh KNIGHT is a bother, seriously, I usually hate people like her. I guess she’s choosing to stay with us, and I can’t complain about that… but I don’t want to be around when she throws a tantrum one day.”

☕️ Fuwari Uradome, “ROOK”☕️

Pronouns: She/They

School: Tsukinomori

Likes: Soba, Coffee

ROOK is the Trumpet player, Lyricist, and Leader of Third Wave! Although they’re one of the least confident members, she has a limitless sense of compassion.

We asked the members of the band what they think about ROOK!

KING: “ROOK is a really great friend, sure she’s a little shy sometimes, but she’s really good at being honest with herself too! I don’t think the band would be anywhere near as close without her!”

QUEEN: “I’m actually a little jealous of ROOK sometimes, I could never write lyrics like they do, but even if I feel like that sometimes, I’ll never let it stop me from fully supporting the lyrics they make with my music, after all, the lyricist and songwriter are a pair!”

ROOK: “E-eh? I’m just normal… or well, I guess I’m kind of a nerd about Ska? That’s not a bad thing though! I want the passion I have for music to inspire people to take pride in their own passions! But if I can be fully honest, I want more Ska fans to be out there too…”

KNIGHT: “ROOK is a complicated person… she has the most apparent lack of skill or talent out of anyone here, and yet… sometimes I feel as though they’ve earned their place more than those of us who can back their passion with skill…”

BISHOP: “I love ROOK! Plain and simple, you’re not gonna find anyone with half as much willpower as they have in that lil’ heart of theirs. Plus, she’s cuter than anyone else! …In all seriousness, I should probably treat her better, but… nah, that’s a problem for later.”

♟️Hiyori Nishihama, “QUEEN”♟️

School: Tsukinomori

Likes: Scrambled Eggs, Fried Chicken

QUEEN plays the synth/key parts of Third Wave’s music, and she writes the songs too! Formerly ran a chess club before joining the band!

We asked the members of the band what they think about QUEEN!

KING: “QUEEN is more than just a friend to me, she’s someone who I’d be with forever! Whether it’s onstage or off I hope she’ll keep relying on me… oh and she looks super cute when she eats! I promise!”

QUEEN: “Giving your thoughts on yourself is a little embarrassing… I’d like to say my biggest strength is my kindness, but that feels a little cheesy… what I can say is that I’m honored to have friends like the ones I have now here in Third Wave!”

ROOK: “QUEEN is so kind to everyone… whenever they look at the lyrics I make they always have some kind of idea as to how to make a song from it, that’s some real skill! Also, sometimes she helps with homework, that’s saved my life every now and then…”

KNIGHT: “QUEEN works harder than anyone else in this band, even if sometimes I feel like she’s less interested in the band than she is in just… spending time with us. I don’t understand her sometimes, but they’re someone you can’t help but admire.”

BISHOP: “QUEEN isn’t honest with themselves most of the time, but that’s just in her nature I think, it’s not like she’s holding back a dark side or anything. I like her the most when she’s really open with us, makes her more interesting when she’s not always on defense y’know?”

🍊Naoto Hirizo, “KING”🍊

Pronouns: She/He

School: Tsukinomori

Likes: Hot Sauce, Mac and Cheese

KING is the vocalist and guitarist of Third Wave, though he’s from a formal family, he’s actually a really eccentric person. Also is big into baseball!

We asked the members of the band what they think about KING!

KING: “Wait, you want me to talk about… me? Uhh, well I’m pretty cool! I can run fast and my new guitar has two necks! …That’s enough to make me cool, yeah?”

QUEEN: “KING is always looking out for us, I can’t say he’s always the best at it, but he always acts with his emotions in mind, and I think it’s wonderful that Third Wave has someone like that as their front man… I trust him more than anyone.”

ROOK: “KING is a great friend! Him and QUEEN are both my seniors, so I feel looked after when I’m with them! As for her playing… I mean, being spontaneous is important for Ska music, but when she gets in a mood it’s like trying to turn off a runaway hose…”

KNIGHT: “KING is… a handful, usually, I’m honored to be part of her band, but sometimes I’m glad that QUEEN is usually the one keeping her on a leash. If there’s anything I admire about him, it’s that he’s action oriented, and that’s a good skill to have.”

BISHOP: “Ohhh man KING is a riot! You’d think anyone from Tsukinomori would be a stuck-up egotist or a sad sad rich girl, but she’s actually super exciting. I don’t get when people call her a handful, she makes things fun!”
