because i'm extra and i had a lot of fun last time i competed with some friends from a groupchat in a match by match prediction competition, and inspired by the way swifties used to play the surprise song game during the eras tour (tumblr version organized by the wonderful @cages-boxes-hunters-foxes) here's... well, that, basically (world cup edition).

how it works: every day i will share the link to a google forms questionnaire where anyone can input their predictions for the matches that will be played that day (based on the schedule of the matches in spanish local time, sorry that's just what easiest for me, though i'm open to change this if people prefer another schedule/i'm open to suggestions). In the link, select the match you are making the prediction for; submit one answer for each match you want to make a prediction for (so for example fill it up for mexico v. south america, send the answer, and then fill it out again for south korea v. czech republic, and so on and so on).

Only submissions sent until one minute before each kick-off will be counted. no need to provide an email to submit your answer, just provide a name or url for the leaderboard.

scoring system: everyone who guesses the winner correctly will earn 3 points. 3 bonus points will also be given to anyone who correctly predicts the exact scoreline. points will be added up after every match (ideally) and i will make a post with the summary of the points and the leaderboard earned by everyone each day (again, ideally).
