Finally decided it was time to continue my little story. Now, where was I...

Austin.

The rat bastard who ruined my life.

If I had just... accepted my fate...

Austin showed up pretty soon after I found out about my cancer. Told me he could work miracles. Told me he could cure my cancer. Promised me all I had to do was just, keep doing what I was doing. Keep smoking. Share my cigarettes with people. It was so hard to believe but.

I was just... I was so desperate.

I signed his stupid contract.

I didn't read it over.

I was an idiot

If I had just read it... If I hadn't signed... I was a fucking idiot. But I was desperate. Needless to say

Those cigarettes weren't... normal.

Found out pretty quickly what they did.

They'd expand my life as long as I just kept passing them out. But they... Well they killed people. I just kept passin em out. I was too afraid to stop after Austin told me what would happen.

Doesn't mean I hated every waking moment of it. Doesn't mean I never tried to quit but it hurt like hell. I'd start coughin again.

When I met Keith I was desperate. I was in, a lot of pain. But the little man helped... calm me down. Gave me a reason to give up.

If I hadn't met Keith I'd still be in that pain.

Sure I'm dead but. A whole lot better than the alternative, huh?

Don't worry. The cigarettes don't kill anymore. We made sure Austin was dead, too. At least we think.

I'm... I'm a little tired. Haven't thought about myself that hard in a while. Hope that answered a few of your questions.

Makes sense. If you do end up starting a series, I recommend Warriors. Some of the memes that you can find in the fandom for that are hilarious, but require some context to really get.
