Big Dumb Idiot | Short Fan animation

I made this for one of my finals! We had to make an animation with a minimum duration of 30 seconds using Toon Boom Harmony.

I've always wanted to make a music video using Tom Cardy's songs, so for this assignment, I used "Big Dumb Idiot". Making this was... um. stressful. But it wasn't that bad, I just struggled to force myself to work on this (and I had to do other assignments too). It was supposed to be longer (1 minute), but I decided to cut it and be kind to myself ❤

Thank you to Kishi for helping me color the backgrounds! My best friend is a lifesaver.

CQ, getting a second chance at life, is haunted by the ghost of her past and has to find out who killed her.

The Oracle's blindfold came undone, tugged by the quivering hands of CQ. The fortune teller, blinded by her own “fate”, was met with a wall of mirages created by the one who stood in front of her.

Doves flew from the paintings; a tree branch extended its arms to the real world. She blinded herself from art. She avoided it at all costs.

She hated art, but her eyes that sparkled blue would prove her words wrong.
