Not only do I feel no empathy when men talk about how “as men” they can’t show emotions, I feel contempt and derision. It’s almost always an excuse or pretext to justify why they act like monsters or are owed a woman to drain, and all from a self imposed prison predicated on your dominion. You feel like you can’t cry because that would make you comparable to the underclass, but what do you think the underclass goes through? Do you care about them? Or is the slightest sign of discomfort the greater priority?
