I have been drawing alot of #batdr stuff for twitter and insta and thought I should post this here too.

She knows she did, but why no one is saying anything about it?

Was she really not that noticeable?

Never mind, never mind.

Dad still refuses to meet her eyes.

Everyone is acting like it's nothing, so why not him?

Doesn't matter.

She asked mom any way.

"oh, he's just grumpy. He will get used to it."

All she said was a mumbled OK.

She asked her friend.

Did I change?

"of course not! You're still Penny after all."

She asked her boyfriend.

Did I change?

"No? Yes? Kinda?"

Real helpful.

"Why?"

Because.. Did she?

Nevermind, she will be fine.

"But you do mind."

No.

The next morning come.

Dad still stubborn to not look at her.

Well, she can play this game too.

Dad said good morning to everyone staring into their eyes,

Still refuses to catch hers.

It's fine. Everything will be fine.

"Honey, can you take the kids to school today"

Mom said, with a soft smile.

She didn't hold her breath like it's the end of the

world.

"I'm busy"

He responds.

He did take them to school, anyway.

He didn't catch her eyes.

He acts like she doesn't exit.

A month pass, maybe years to her.

She saw him in coach.

She want her dad back.

She want her life back.

She stand between the static of the TV and the couch.

Dad.

Still no respond.

Dad!

Still nothing.

P... Papa?

She holds her breath.

Papa stare into her eyes.

For second.

She wanted to cry, to scream to laugh.

She did none.

Just staring back.

And it's gone.

Papa stopped staring.

She fall, maybe she didn't.

She holded her papa hands.

"I am still your daughter. "

She said, she screamed, she sobbed.

Papa holds her like nothing has ever happened.

And said.
