These are my OCs for a RP I’m in with @queeninbrown! Meet Valeria, Kyle, Jackson, and Tayara. Set in the future, the RP is centered around a group of teen superheroes with special powers or abilities who find themselves in space after chasing down aliens that attacked their world. The four of them and @queeninbrown‘s characters join together to fight for a better universe--and make friends and romances along the way. Valeria Shafiq is a stubborn, hotheaded badass with a knack for punching bad guys and dropping cheesy pick-up lines. She’s extremely sarcastic and humorous, frequently making light of tense situations. Her nature is to act extremely self-assured, which can often make her seem arrogant, but she is also fiercely loyal and protective of those she cares about. She’ll never back down from a challenge, which can sometimes get her into trouble, but her resourcefulness and combat skills are good at getting her out. Although she doesn’t have any powers, she fights with two staffs and is a force to be reckoned with, and is also a spectacular pilot.
“Oh no, she’s the hero. I’m just...the friendly neighborhood IT guy.”
Kyle Warner is a kind, intelligent boy who is amazing with computers and technology. He’s awkward and his humor is mostly self-deprecating, and as Valeria’s best friend, he acts as her self-proclaimed sidekick. What he lacks in the physical department he makes up for with his unbelievable intellect, although he often doesn’t see it that way. Kyle is compassionate and caring towards almost every person he meets, which can sometimes make him naive. Still, his friendly and supportive nature makes him a fantastic friend to have. And he’ll find a way to make a reference to a sci-fi movie or pop culture in almost any situation.

Jackson Harper is a secluded, somewhat arrogant superhero with the power of controlling and generating electricity. He has an extremely snarky and reserved personality, hardly ever opening up to people. Extremely driven and focused, he is good at thinking on his feet and very powerful. But at the same time, he can often be temperamental and has the tendency to run headlong into danger without considering the consequences. To the people who he becomes close to, he is very protective and will open up a bit more, becoming more teasing and at ease. In addition to his electric powers, Jackson also uses arrows to focus his lightning or attack his opponents.

Tayara Al-Safir is an alien from the planet Espar. Ex-princess of the planet, she has a strong sense of duty and loyalty to both her people and the people of the universe. She was chosen by Ataria, the deity of protection on Espar, to wield a weapon called the Soul Sword. The Soul Sword is a weapon that can only be wielded by the person to whom it is bestowed, and gives the user the ability to fly and open dimensional portals. Tayara is extremely heroic, with a bold and courageous heart. She does everything she can to protect people, but struggles with coming to terms with failure. Overall, Tayara is passionate, caring, and humorous, and an extremely good friend and leader.
