"just because i carry it well doesnt mean its not heavy" 2024
This was an experiment, I used this funky white yarn that had all different textures as the pages, scrap felt pieces, scrap embroidery thread, buttons, and beads.

"FUCK ICE" (2026)
quilted tapestry
Very please with how this tapestry turned out. Not pleased with current events that triggered the creation of this piece. Love thy neighbor, protect each other, speak up for those who are being attacked. STOP ICE TERROR
"Pack of Cigs" 2021
Made this sculpture for a fibers class final, I used different mark making techniques learned in class for the fabric of the cigarettes and the "Brand" is created using paper pulp casting (that was a complete pain in the ass to make bc it kept breaking apart).
This piece is meant to be a commentary on the tobacco industry and my personal/familial history of tobacco use. My true dream for this piece is to be interactive, viewers would be given the ability to rearrange the cigs according to the vibes of their own view points on tobacco and nicotine. I reference the age limits being raised to 21+ just six months after I turned 18, 3 months after I started smoking. I switched between cigs, vapes and juuls, and cigars in my experience, hence the different images of said products. I also wrote some short pieces about how different seasons brought up different cravings and memories related to smoking.
Probably one of my favorite pieces I've created, I'm still a little miffed I only got an 80/100 on it
