hi. recently i got into a car accident that i couldn't have avoided due to poor infrastructure and someone cutting off and braking in front of a truck on the highway, but is technically, according to the law, "my fault", so there are problems with filing this accident through insurance.

after some calls with my insurance company, it's been determined that i have two options: pay out of pocket to get my car out of the lot it was towed to and to get it repaired, or file the accident through insurance which would force me to start my own insurance plan at $6000/yr. (the car is still under my dad's insurance.) i cannot make $500 a month right now so my only option is to pay out of pocket to get the car out of the towing lot and get it repaired.

i cannot work right now as the only jobs i can find are very physical and involve standing for multiple hours, which i cannot do due to my disability, and my parents are verbally abusing me over this and/or outright neglecting to help with this. i'm just lucky enough that my brother is loaning me $500 to get the car out of the towing lot, but i'm not sure when i can do that and the price to get it out is going up by $45 every day.

i don't have a set goal as of yet other than getting around $500 to get my brother his money back for the loan he gave me, but the repairs are being estimated to be in the thousands right now. donations will be used to pay back my loan as there is emphasis on repaying it as soon as possible, as well as any other expenses i may have in the near future, and saving up towards my car's repairs.

the good news: i have time. the annoying part: i dont know how much past after i get my diploma i have, so i have between 4-12 months. i Also dont have where i'm going to go sorted out but by the time i do get kicked out i should have the answer to that & the money for it. this is happening because i'm too mentally ill to work anything other than manual labor contract gigs and petsitting and cant Not be mentally ill until i move out. also las vegas is going to Kill Me anyways.
