Life changing and character building adventure with two siblings. Amazing to watch a 4 & 7 yr old climb up some pretty high routes.

One side had representations of home and the other home as in the community around you. Eyes, nose and mouths were mixed up to create some super silly portraits .

The Spice Index turned out beautifully! It's so exciting to have an idea and not know how it will turn out when left to public participation ... everybody loved it. I'm proud... And all day I was remembering food shopping in Beijing.

So exciting to see this map get populated with places the community find important .

First thing we do is touch the sharp part of the drill!

Family pinball machine workshop was a blast. It ended up taking a lot more time but the groups were so stoked on it they stayed for 6 hours!

Designed and built this exhibit debuting tomorrow at Maker Faire Silver Spring 2016. It's been so fun watching kids and parents interact with earlier prototypes.

Watched a young man learn how to use a lathe and grow in confidence.

Shelf repair crew. I felt so proud that they both knew how to use the drill and worked out sharing the task.
