Oh my god, I love how much Marazhai has to say in the new DLC! Cailan and him had a wonderful terrible time. Some of my favorite bits below the cut. (SERIOUS SPOILER WARNING!)

He's constantly on the lookout for Necron traps and warning about them. (Not even threatening to cut off Cailan's eyelids! We're making progress. 💛)

He hated being trapped in the time loop. Cailan wanted to hug him, but wisely decided against it. Although Marazhai couldn't really argue that they didn't have time for it back then...

Not completely sure if that's new, but I think it is! I love that it sounds like Marazhai ran up to Cailan looking like 🥺 and asking to have one of these constructs. Only for Cailan to have to deny him, because it would disassemble the ship and everyone on it. He was very sorry.

And my favorite part of the DLC was this:

What a wonderful opportunity for Cailan to give the Imperium one final middle finger before the finale, great payoff to his character arc. (It's also so nice discovering a new hobby with your husband. 💛)

I also loved Eogunn a lot. His theme of accepting mortality, yours and of those close to you, was really powerful. And as a human in a relationship with a near immortal being, Cailan was quiet throughout Eogunn's quests a lot. It's the elephant in the room that he doesn't like to think about. He has a feeling Marazhai doesn’t like thinking about it either. Beautiful.

Because Bhaal is both a god and a character who is aware of herself as a character, she's pretty lax about a lot of things, since most of them simply don't matter to her. However, after her own game and because of her father, she developed one particular trait: she absolutely refuses to tolerate even the slightest hint of hunger.

Yes, she will pause whatever game she's currently stuck in at any moment and go get food, or she'll simply take a bite out of her companions. She'll restore them afterward, of course, but her stomach is more important to her than her allies' mental health.

Notes from Bhaal:

Mazai tastes like shit, but the texture of the meat is incredible - chewy and pleasantly crunchy.

Ira tastes absolutely amazing, but the texture of the meat is complete garbage.

I have a huge pile of sketches; some have been waiting for years for me to finish it. But I have a couple of new things that I'd like to turn into illustrations! These are a sketch of the Black Library Guardian (based on old official drawings), Arzokith and... the Arzokith hound (:D), and Marae who's lazing around again.

And the thing with Marae I'll try to finish tomorrow! Just a lil part :>
