A beautiful sunny morning in Claygate today.

The Strand wouod normally be gridlocked at this time of day. At least our faithful lunchtime cafe is still open!

More views of London incl Embankment Gardens and Villiers Street. What was interesting was noticing which cafes and restaurants were open and which were closed. Will they reopen?

Some evocative views of London and the Thames. At this point it became clear what was most unusual ... the quiet. We crossed the Thames just after noon. No traffic jams, in fact very little traffic. Note the tourist boat that has very few people aboard. It felt like a Sunday morning.

Our first visit to London in a few months and our first on a weekday. As you can see, streets that were normally busy are, if not deserted, hardly crowded.

First post in a long, long time. A beautiful morning saw us walking from Esher Common to Claygate. It doesn’t get better than this.

Took the train from Vienna to Bratislava. Grey and damp. Probably not the best day to see the old town. But we had a fun time and the wine was cheap!

Out and about seeing the sights of Vienna. As you can see a lovely sunny day and nowhere near as cold as Prague.

Prague, Czech Republic 5/12/19 Arrived in Prague today. The old town is lovely. Loads of tourists but enough space to enjoy the stunning views. It is very cold!
