+ ICE Entertainment’s latest rookie to feature on D.Mor and Rap Monster’s latest single?

Rumours have been circulating about the latest collaboration between D.Mor and Rap Monster about whether or not the newest trainee from ICE Entertainment; Kwon Jaehwa, will be featured. Rumours began to fly on November 6th when the teasers for the single were revealed, two of the pictures clearly showing the newest addition to the company. This was further fueled ICE who later released a picture of the three in the studio together, clearly enjoying themselves as there were smiles all round. Which leads to the question, does that mean we’ll be seeing a lot more of Kwon Jaehwa or do you think this will just be a one off?

SAVVY RELEASES EYES WIDE OPEN

Ice Entertainment’s girl group releases their digital single, EYES WIDE OPEN. EWO is a pop-electro track that gets you moving, showcasing a new side of the five member band. The fun and energetic video also contains cameos from fellow ICE members DJ Del Ray and Han Taehwa, adding to the party atmosphere.  It’s a definitely an eye catcher for netizens and fans alike. 

RAPMON RELEASES TEASER PHOTOS FOR COMEBACK

Producer Mason Hunter Choi and Special Guest Jeon Gaeul at his MET performance in New York City on November 1st, 2014. His piece entitled “Love Contraptions Symphony” received high praise by critiques globally went it was first performed in Korea early last summer. When asked to make a comment he said “I’ve been working hard for a long time to accomplish my dream to be the first Korean and youngest Asian male to conduct and compose a symphony. I’m glad to have brought honor to South Korea, and I’m even more honored and humbled to do it with the world watching.” 

+ ICE SOLOIST BANGSV FIRST PERFORMANCE FOR “NO ROOM FOR LOVE” IS A SUCCESS.    

BANGSV sets off the November promotions with her her single “No Room For Love” on Inkigayo.  The supreme soloist showed off powerful dance moves and extreme high range but yet wonderful power vocals to the song.  The crowd really seem to love it and everything about this showcase.  Due to Bobby of 2JAL preparing for a boy group he will be unable to perform the song with her.

Although Kang Jino previously hinted that a comeback is in the works, it seems fans will have to wait a few more days for the model-music producer’s fresh album.

Kang Jino stated on his official Facebook account; “I initially planned on releasing an album before this year ends, but after considering various situations, it was naturally pushed back to another month. I really want to produce really good tracks so I am taking as much time as possible. I’ve been working with various artist as well, so expect this album to be sicker as before. I hope ( you ) my dear friends would be patient.”

Previously debuted under the group of Epiphany, Tina Tamashiro garnered much attention for her smooth vocals. However, the group dissolved into solo projects not long after the release of their first mini album. With the solo activities of the other two original members, many were left wondering what would become of the maknae.

Towards the end of October, Tina made a post on her Instagram that left many fans wondering about the meaning behind her words. Many have speculated that the singer will continue on with a solo career of her own. This rumor was confirmed with an official statement released by ICE Entertainment representatives earlier today.

Many rumours occurred when model Han Taehwa’s original schedules were found cancelled a few hours ago, having netizens question if it was a problem with the agency, personal matters, or even illness. But questions were answered when a spokesperson of ICE ENTERTAINMENT gave us their official statement.

'His (Taehwa's) schedules were meant to continue on as usual, but this morning during a shooting there was an accident involving a UV flash. Both Taehwa and the assistant at the shoot was afterwards sent to get treatment for minor burns. With this in consideration, we decided to cancel his schedules temporarily. The doctor recommended a minimum of two days of rest in dark environments to avoid further damage to the eyes, so Taehwa will avoid studio lights and camera flashes for now.” 

The accident itself is not seen as too unusual since UV flash has been noted burning not only the cell layers of the eyes, but even skin, and whilst it’s a terrible thing, we can only be glad that it wasn’t worse as the spokesperson reassure that both Taehwa and the assistant should be able to return to their lives as normal in the span of a week at most.

[KI]: It has been reported by a few insiders in the industry that ICE’s original bad boy and PRINCE5 leader Alpha is preparing for his solo debut! This would be the first full solo album any member from PRINCE5 has done (even though every member has had multiple solo songs over the years).
