They shouldn't have released that documentary...I accepted the final season as it was, as disappointing as it was....I did survive and still suffer ptsd from Game of Thrones and those idiot writers. Also George RR Martin for refusing to finish Winds of Winter...

What is the purpose of Eddie's dad being included in the play they had in high school?

It's weird that all of the main parents/parental figures are all included...and then Alan Munson? Make it make sense, Duffers. Give me something to celebrate New Year's Eve.

I know there's still a lot of confusion and questions to be answered...but the cave? And a high school play? They need to answer why those are traumatic memories?

I will die on the hill saying the ST broadway/London play is such a stupid way to have a prequel and not release anything on Netflix for everyone to watch. The YouTube videos of it help and give the gist of it... but who the Hell knows who Patty Newby is within the show realm?

Has anyone been able to see the play in NYC or London? Apparently they aren't the complete same (which is also dumb). But was there a little Alan Munson cameo? Were there interactions or anything involving him to where he's included with the group?

They distracted the demobats so Nancy, Steve and Robin could get into the Creel house. There was no reason for them to kill him "for the plot." It didn't do anything to affect the plot in any way. They didn't even include a scene where anyone else reacted to his death.

Maybe I have been delulu but honestly the direction of season 5, the final season is so sloppy. Some people gave me crap for saying I hated how the majority of the show has been Holly Wheeler but you have all these other characters, all of these loose ends and unanswered questions but instead of focusing on the original main cast, we get a someone who has been a silent background character for 4 seasons get more screen time than Mike, Dustin and Joyce combined.

Apparently there is 45 minutes worth of epilog in the finale. Which means we get the final battles and all of the answers in less than an hour and a half? This finale can be nothing short of an absolute masterpiece.
