  Sango watched Kagome’s face more than her hands that were rummaging inside of her bag. A sudden curiosity crept up. “Kagome-chan, what’s it like in your era?” Stories. She really wanted stories, but, most of all, she longed to explore the other dimension beyond the well.

        Kagome paused, turning a little to face her friend. Her world? How could she describe it...? "It's really loud, for one. No matter where you go, there are always lots people talking, or machines rumbling," she was lucky to live where she did - it afforded her a little bit of silence, at least.

    "Oh, and the people. In my time, there are lots of big cities -- places with a lot of people living close together. Most people live side-by-side in Tokyo," by that point, she'd forgotten about her bag and had settled against the well. "or in apartments. They're these really tall buildings -" the girl gestured upwards, attempting to mimic something very tall, "like five or ten houses on top of each other, and they're divided up into rooms for people to live in." What else could she say? It all seemed boring to her.
